Abstract
Pendidikan karakter menjadi salah satu hal utama yang harus mendapatkan perhatian lebih. Pendidikan karakter menjadi penting karena melalui pendidikan karakter, dapat tergambar bagaimana kehidupan siswa kedepannya. Semakin berkembangnya zaman, cara menerapkan pendidikan karakter pada siswa pun ikut berkembang. Salah satu cara modernnya yaitu melalui film animasi. Contoh film animasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk media pendidikan karakter yaitu film “Riko The Series”. Maka, tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menemukan nilai karakter apa saja yang terdapat dalam film animasi “Riko The Series”, bagaimana implementasinya sebagai media pembelajaran, dan bagaimana film animasi “Riko The Series” membangun karakter siswa SD. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain analisis konten dan objek yang diteliti ialah film animasi “Riko The Series” season 2 episode 11 sampai 15. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu dalam film animasi “Riko The Series” terdapat 13 nilai karakter yang baik. Dengan begitu, film animasi “Riko The Series” dapat diimplementasikan sebagai media pembelajaran karakter siswa, contohnya dengan mengadakan jadwal rutin untuk menonton film animasi “Riko The Series” bersama-sama. Jadi, film animasi “Riko The Series” dapat dimanfaatkan untuk media pembelajaran karakter bagi siswa karena memiliki banyak nilai karakter baik di dalamnya juga karena siswa merupakan peniru yang handal. ----- Character education is one of the main things that must get more attention. Character education is important because through character education, it can be illustrated how students lives in the future. With the development of the times, how to apply character education to students also develops. One of the modern ways is through animated films. An example of an animated film that can be used for character education is the film "Riko The Series". So, the purpose of this study is to find out what character values are contained in the animated film "Riko The Series", how it is implemented as a learning medium, and how the animated film "Riko The Series" builds the character of elementary school students. This research is a qualitative research with content analysis design and the object studied is the animated film "Riko The Series" season 2 episodes 11 to 15. The results obtained are in the animated film "Riko The Series" there are 13 good character values. That way, the animated film "Riko The Series" can be implemented as a medium for learning the character of students, for example by holding a regular schedule to watch the animated film "Riko The Series" together. So, the animated film "Riko The Series" can be used for character learning media for students because it has many good character values in it as well because students are reliable imitators.
