Abstract
ABSTRAK Penggunaan Media Flash Card Untuk Mengembangkan Keaksaraan Awal Anak Kelompok A TK Khalifah 2 Serang Idoh Mahfudoh Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Kampus Serang Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Keaksaraan awal anak di TK Khalifah 2 Serang karena di TK tersebut masih ada anak yang belum bisa membedakan huruf vokal dan konsonan, serta meniru bentuk dan bunyi dalam huruf-huruf tertentu. Tujuan diadakan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan keaksaraan awal anak usia dini di kelompok A TK Khalifah 2 Serang menggunakan media flash card. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dari Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu 7 anak usia 4-5 tahun. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan keaksaraan awal anak, pada pra siklus anak yang keaksaraan awalnya termasuk pada kriteria Belum Berkembang (BB) ada sebanyak 57% dan yang termasuk pada kriteria Mulai Berkembang (MB) ada sebanyak 43%. Kemudian pada siklus I persentase meningkat menjadi sebanyak 43% anak termasuk dalam kriteria Mulai Berkembang (MB), dan 57% anak termasuk dalam kriteria Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH). Pada siklus II sebanyak 57% anak termasuk dalam kriteria Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH), dan 43% anak termasuk dalam kriteria Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). Apabila dijumlahkan, terdapat 100% anak yang menunjukan kriteria BSH dan BSB. Dengan demikian indikator keberhasilan tindakan dinyatakan tercapai pada siklus II. Penelitian ini direkomendasikan pada pendidik untuk mengembangkan keaksaraan awal anak usia dini dengan menggunakan media flash card yang menjadi alternatif solusi untuk mengenalkan bentuk dan bunyi huruf kepada anak. Kata Kunci : Keaksaraan Awal, Media Flash Card ABSTRACT Using Flash Card Media To Develop Early Literacy Of Children In Group A Tk Khalifah 2 Serang Idoh Mahfudoh Early Childhood Education Teacher Education, Serang Campus Indonesian education university Early literacy of children in TK Khalifah 2 Serang is because there are still children who cannot distinguish between vowels and consonants, and imitate the shapes and sounds of certain letters. The purpose of this study was to develop early childhood literacy in group A TK Khalifah 2 Serang using flash card media. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) from Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The subjects of this study were 7 children aged 4-5 years. The results obtained showed an increase in children's early literacy skills, in the pre-cycle children whose initial literacy was included in the Undeveloped criteria (BB) were 57% and those included in the Beginning to Develop (MB) criteria were 43%. Then in the first cycle the percentage increased to 43% of children included in the criteria for Beginning to Develop (MB), and 57% of children included in the criteria for Developing According to Expectations (BSH). In the second cycle as many as 57% of children included in the criteria for Developing According to Expectations (BSH), and 43% of children included in the criteria for Very Good Development (BSB). When added together, there are 100% of children who show BSH and BSB criteria. Thus the indicator of success of the action is stated to be achieved in cycle II. This research is recommended for educators to develop early childhood literacy by using flash card media which is an alternative solution to introduce the shapes and sounds of letters to children.
