Abstract

ABSTRAK Karir merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi manusia dalam kehidupannya. Dunia karir yang dinamis selalu memunculkan problematika karir yang baru, khususnya sekarang di era revolusi industri 4.0 dan society 5.0. Pada tahun 2021 jumlah pengangguran berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan yang ditamatkan, didominasi oleh lulusan sekolah menengah kejuruan yaitu 2.089.137 orang dengan persentase 23,88%. Selain akibat dari tidak seimbangnya antara lapangan pekerjaan yang tersedia dengan pertumbuhan angka para pencari kerja, pertumbuhan angka pengangguran disebabkan oleh perkembangan karir yang tidak optimal pada masa remaja, sehingga mengalami ketidakmampuan untuk beradaptasi dengan situasi dunia kerja pada saat ini. Savickas (2012) menyatakan bahwa adaptabilitas karir merupakan konstruk utama dalam perkembangan karir disepanjang rentang kehidupan seseorang. Pada Era 4.0 dan Society 5.0 yang dikemudikan oleh perkembangan teknologi dan informasi, dimana media digital sekarang ini menjadi sumber referensi utama bagi kebanyakan orang untuk mendapatkan segala informasi, termasuk informasi yang menunjang pengetahuan terkait karir. Maka, konsep adaptabilitas karir yang ditinjau dari kemampuan literasi digital sangat penting dan menarik untuk dikaji. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana potensi adaptabilitas karir peserta didik sekolah menengah kejuruan dari perspektif literasi digital. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif korelasional dengan menggunakan instrumen Career Adapt-ability Scale (CAAS) yang dikembangkan oleh Savickas. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 534 peserta didik kelas XII dan XIII SMKN 5 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2021-2022. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi digital memiliki hubungan positif signifikan terhadap adaptabilitas karir peserta didik dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,528, pada tingkat hubungan yang sedang dan hasil analisis koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital berkontribusi sebesar 27,9% pada adaptabilitas karir. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa kemampuan literasi digital memiliki hubungan dan mampu berkontribusi terhadap potensi adaptabilitas karir peserta didik dalam menghadapi tantangan karir di era 4.0 serta mencapai kesuksesan dalam fase school-to-work transition. Kata Kunci: Adaptabilitas Karir, Literasi Digital.   ABSTRACT Career is a very important thing for humans in life. The dynamic career world always raises new career problems, especially now in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0. In 2021 the number of unemployed based on the level of education completed, is dominated by vocational high school graduates, namely 2,089,137 people with a percentage of 23.88%. In addition to the result of the imbalance between the available jobs and the growth in the number of job seekers, the growth in the unemployment rate is caused by career development that is not optimal during adolescence, resulting in an inability to adapt to the current world of work. Savickas (2012) states that career adaptability is the main construct in career development throughout a person's life span. In Era 4.0 and Society 5.0, which was driven by the development of technology and information, digital media is now the main reference source for most people to get all information, including information that supports career-related knowledge. Thus, the concept of career adaptability in terms of digital literacy skills is very important and interesting to study. This study discusses the potential for career adaptability of vocational high school students from a digital literacy perspective. This research method uses a descriptive correlational quantitative approach using the Career Adapt-ability Scale (CAAS) instrument developed by Savickas. This research was conducted on 534 students of class XII and XIII of SMKN 5 Bandung in the Academic Year of 2021-2022. The research findings show that digital literacy ability has a significant positive relationship to students' career adaptability with a correlation coefficient of 0.528, at a moderate level of relationship and the results of the coefficient of determination analysis show that digital literacy contributes 27.9% to career adaptability. This proves that digital literacy skills have a relationship and are able to contribute to the potential adaptability of students' careers in facing career challenges in the 4.0 era and achieving success in the school-to-work transition phase.
