Abstract
ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara anak melalui metode dialogic reading, penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya berbicara siswa yang masih rendah dan dapat dilihat dari hasil observasi bahwa kemampuan berbicara siswa di salah satu sekolah RA X di Purwakarta belum maksimal. Hal ini saat proses pembelajaran bercerita terdapat anak yang tidak memperhatikan dan menyimak dengan baik. kemampuan berbicara ditunjukan oleh Pengembangan kosakata, Pengucapan dan Pembentukan kalimat. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas melalui dua siklus dengan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu anak kelompok B di RA X Purwakarta yang berjumlah 10 anak. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan observasi, tes dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa metode dialogic reading dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara pada anak kelompok B. Peningkatan kemampuan berbicara anak kelompok B yang ditunjukan oleh pencapaian skor sebelum tindakan 42 (26.2%) dengan skor maksimal 160. Pada siklus I skor yang dicapai 95 (59.3%) dengan skor maksimal 160. Pada tindakan siklus II mencapai skor 138 (86.2%) dengan skor maksimal 160. Kata kunci : metode dialogic reading, kemampuan berbicara, anak usia dini ----- ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to improve children's speaking skills through the dialogic reading method, this research is motivated by the presence of low student speech and it can be seen from the results of observations that students' speech ability at one of the RA X schools in Purwakarta has not been maximized. This is when the learning process of telling stories there are children who do not pay attention and listen well. The ability to speak is shown by vocabulary development, pronunciation and sentence formation. This type of research uses classroom action research through two cycles with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were group B children in RA X Purwakarta, which totaled 10 children. Research instruments use observations, tests and field notes. The results showed that the dialogic reading method can improve speech skills in group B children. Improved speaking ability of group B children shown by the achievement of a score before the action of 42 (26.2%) with a maximum score of 160. In the first cycle, the score achieved was 95 (59.3%) with a maximum score of 160. In the second cycle action, it reached a score of 138 (86.2%) with a maximum score of 160.
