Abstract

Penelitian ini beranjak dari permasalahan yang muncul perihal rendahnya hasil belajar yang dicapai siswa di mata pelajaran IPA sekolah dasar hal ini disebabkan karena kurang bervariasinya model pembelajaran yang diterapkan pada saat pembelajaran di kelas berlangsung, sehingga menjadikan siswa cepat merasa bosan dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Cooperative Learning tipe Picture and Pictures terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar dengan materi Energi dan Perubahannya. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah Classroom Action Research (CAR) atau dalam bahasa Indonesia adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) terdapat dua siklus yang mana tipa siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Sebanyak 25 siswa yang digunakan sebagai subjek dalam penelitian ini yakni siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar dari salah satu SD Negeri yang ada di Kabupaten Purwakarta. Dengan dua cara teknik pengumpulan data yaitu pengumpulan data secara kualitatif dan pengumpulan data secara kuantitatif. Sehingga didapat hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Picture and Pictures memberikan peningkatan terhadap hasil belajar siswa yakni, pada siklus I yaitu 48% kemudian meningkat menjadi 92% pada siklus II. Hal ini membuktikan model Picture and Pictures dapat diterapkan pada pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. ----- This research departs from the problems that arise regarding the low learning outcomes achieved by students in elementary school science subjects this is due to the lack of variety of learning models that are applied when learning in class takes place, thus making students feel bored quickly in participating in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of Cooperative Learning the Picture and Pictures on the science learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students with the material Energy and its Changes. The method in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) or in Indonesian it is Classroom Action Research (CAR). There are two cycles in which each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. A total of 25 students were used as subjects in this study, namely fourth grade elementary school students from one of the public elementary schools in Purwakarta Regency. With two ways of data collection techniques, namely qualitative data collection and quantitative data collection. So that the research results show that the Picture and Pictures Cooperative Learning learning model increase provides an in student learning outcomes, namely, in the first cycle, which is 48%, then it increases to 92% in the second cycle. This proves that the Picture and Pictures can be applied to science learning in elementary schools to improve student learning outcomes.
