Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam penelitian ini yaitu upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA selama proses pembelajaran yaitu siswa tampak pasif, siswa hanya mendengarkan penjelasan guru tanpa bertanya, dan siswa tampak kurang memperhatikan guru selama proses pembelajaran dapat menjadi penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar IPA setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran talking stick pada siswa kelas 4 tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 di salah satu SD di Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas 4 yang berjumlah 32 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran talking stick. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 47% dengan rata-rata kelas 67 dan siklus II sebesar 81% dengan rata-rata kelas 78 yang mengalami peningkatan sebesar 34%. Rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 57% dan siklus II sebesar 82%. Berdasarkan hasil Analisa di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran talking stick dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas 4. ----- The problems faced in this study are efforts to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects during the learning process, namely students seem passive, students only listen to teacher explanations without asking, and students seem to pay less attention to teachers during the learning process can be the cause of low student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the increase in science learning outcomes after applying the talking stick learning model to 4th grade students in the 2021/2022 academic year in an elementary school in Bekasi City. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) with the research subject is the Fourth grade students, totaling 32 people. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on the results of the study, it showed an increase in student learning outcomes after the talking stick learning model was applied. This can be seen from the increase in student learning completeness in the first cycle by 47% with an average class of 67 and the second cycle of 81% with an average class of 78 which increased by 34%. The average student learning activity in the first cycle is 57% and the second cycle is 82%. Based on the results of the analysis above, it can be concluded that the talking stick learning model can improve learning outcomes in 4th grade science subjects.
