Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini dilaksanakan karena pada proses pembelajaran guru hanya terpaku kepada bantuan dalam menyediakan media pembelajaran padahal media pembelajaran dapat didesain dari berbagai sumber dalam berbagai bentuk sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik materi ajar yang akan disajikan. Pembelajaran yang kurang menarik tanpa adanya kreativitas dalam media membuat menurunya motivasi belajar siswa. Media pembelajaran dikembangkan menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan model penelitian ADDIE yang dikembangkan oleh Branch (dalam Suryani, dkk. 2018), melalui lima tahapan yaitu analisis (analysis), desain (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Instrumen pengumpulan data digunakan untuk memperoleh data yakni, angket dan tes tindakan. Hasil penelitian mengembangkan media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book menunjukkan bahwa, 1) aspek materi memperoleh hasil validasi sebesar 93,33% dengan kategori penilaian “Sangat Layak”, aspek media memperoleh hasil validasi sebesar 98% dengan kategori penilaian “Sangat Layak” dan 97,33% dengan kategori penilaian “Sangat Layak” dari praktisi pembelajaran. maka dapat dinyatakan bahwasanya media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book yang dibuat sangat layak untuk dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil analisis angket motivasi belajar siswa media termasuk dalam kategori efektif digunakan berdasarkan hasil angket sebelum menggunakan Pop-Up Book mendapatkan hasil sebesar 57,72% dengan kategori “Cukup” dan setelah menggunakan Pop-Up Book mendapatkan hasil sebesar 81,84% dengan kategori “Sangat Tinggi”. Hasil perhitungan uji coba tersebut mendapatkan adanya peningkatan motivasi sebesar 24,12%. Then it may be stated that a pop-up book medium of learning is made perfectly worthy of being a medium of learning. The results of the media student's angular motivational analysis fall under the category of effective use before using pop-up book get a hit of 57.72% with the "enough" category and after using the pop-up book get 81.84% with the "very high" category. The results of the trial calculations revealed a 24.12% increase in motivation. Thus, the use of pop-up books on thematic learning can promote the study of students in class iii of elementary school.
