Abstract

Rendahnya penggunaan asesmen formatif pada proses pembelajaran menjadi masalah penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penilaian diri berpikir berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui self-assessment dan hubungannya dengan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis mereka serta respon peserta didik terhadap penggunaan self-assessment berpikir kritis pada proses pembelajaran. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 17 orang peserta didik kelas X MIPA di salah satu SMA Negeri Kota Cimahi. Adapun pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini melalui observasi, asesmen formatif, kuesioner terbuka, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, pengambilan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan profil berpikir kritis peserta didik dari hasil penilaian diri berpikir kritis dalam kategori Cakap. Terdapat empat pola kategori hubungan penilaian diri berpikir kritis dan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini. Pola tersebut terdiri dari pola A, pola B, pola C, dan pola D. Peserta didik memberikan respon positif pada penggunaan self-assessment yang dilakukan selama proses pembelajaran. Sehingga menghasilkan pola hubungan antara penilaian diri berpikir kritis dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang diujikan pada asesmen sumatif (post-test) dan jawaban LKPD yang dikerjakan selama proses pembelajaran. The low use of formative assessment in the learning process is the problem of this research. This study aims to analyze the self-assessment of students' critical thinking through self-assessment and its relationship to the level of their critical thinking skills and students' responses to the use of self-assessment of critical thinking in the learning process. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. Participants in this study were selected using a purposive sampling technique with the number of participants as many as 17 students of class X MIPA in one of the Cimahi City Public High Schools. The data collection in this study was through observation, formative assessment, open questionnaire, and interviews. Data analysis techniques by means of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The results of the study show the critical thinking profile of students from the results of self-assessment of critical thinking in the Capable category. There are four pattern categories of critical thinking self-assessment and critical thinking skills found in this study. The pattern consists of pattern A, pattern B, pattern C, and pattern D. Learners give a positive response to the use of self-assessment carried out during the learning process. So as to produce a pattern of relationships between self-assessment of critical thinking and critical thinking skills of students who were tested on a summative assessment (post-test) and LKPD answers that were carried out during the learning process.
