Abstract

Motivasi belajar merupakan salah satu yang mempengaruhi kesuksesan belajar siswa. Namun, tidak semua siswa termotivasi dan aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe course review horay di SDN Karang Satria 04 Kabupaten Bekasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Eksperimen dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV sebanyak 20 0rang. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan teknik non-tes yaitu inventori (skala sikap) dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif, uji T, uji regresi linier sederhana, uji koefisien determinasi dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model cooperative learning tipe course review horay dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Karang Satria 04 Kabupaten Bekasi. Rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari skor rata-rata pretest 38,90 menjadi 42,70 pada skor rata-rata posttest. Selain itu pada uji T menghasilkan nilai signifikan 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 yang artinya motivasi belajar mengalami perbedaan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linier sederhana diperoleh nilai yang signifikan 0,002 dan diperoleh koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,415 yang artinya besar pengaruh model cooperative learning tipe course review horay terhadap motivasi belajar sebesar 41,5%. Kemudian nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,40 menunjukkan motivasi belajar mengalami peningkatan pada kategori sedang. ----- Learning motivation is one that affects student learning success. However, not all students are motivated and active in learning activities. So that this study aims to increase student motivation in thematic learning using a cooperative learning model of course review horay type at SDN Karang Satria 04 Bekasi Regency. The research method used is pre-experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were 20 class IV students. Data was collected using non-test techniques, namely inventory (attitude scale) and interviews, then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, T test, simple linear regression test, coefficient of determination test and N-Gain test. The results showed that the application of the course review horay type of cooperative learning model could increase the learning motivation of fourth grade students at SDN Karang Satria 04 Bekasi Regency. The average student motivation has increased from the pretest average score of 38.90 to 42.70 in the posttest average score. In addition, the T test produces a significant value of 0.000 less than 0.05, which means that learning motivation has a significant difference. Based on the results of the simple linear regression test, a significant value of 0.002 was obtained and the coefficient of determination (R Square) was 0.415, which means that the effect of the course review horay type of cooperative learning model on learning motivation is 41.5%. Then the average N-Gain value of 0.40 shows that learning motivation has increased in the medium category.
