Abstract
Penerapan model pembelajaran merupakan suatu hal yang perlu dikuasai oleh seorang guru. Model pembelajaran perlu disesuaikan dengan keadaan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS melalui penerapan model cooperative learning tipe think pair share siswa kelas V SDN 2 Cipaisan Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena masih rendahnya hasil belajar siswa terhadap pembelajaran IPS di mana hal ini dapat berpengaruh pada pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang siswa terdiri dari 21 orang siswa laki-laki dan 19 orang siswa perempuan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada hasil tes belajar setiap siklus, pada tahap pra siklus memperoleh rata-rata 66,77 atau 37,5%, pada tahap siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 72,61 atau 65%, dan pada tahap siklus II memperoleh rata-rata 85,22 atau 90%. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa terjadi peningkatan sebesar 27,5% pada tahap pra siklus ke siklus I, peningkatan sebesar 25% pada siklus I ke siklus II, dan peningkatan sebesar 52,5% pada tahap pra siklus ke siklus II. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model cooperative learning tipe think pair share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS. ----- The application of the learning model is something that needs to be mastered by a teacher. The learning model needs to be adapted to the student’s circumstances. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning through the application of cooperative learning a think pair share fifth grade students at SDN 2 Cipaisan in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research was carried out because students’ learning outcomes were still low on social studies learning where this could affect the implementation of the learning process. The research method used is a class action research model of Kemmis & Mc. Taggart is carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data analysis used in this research is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests, and documentation. The subjects of this study were 40 students consisting of 21 male students and 19 female students. The results in this study showed an increase in the results of the learning test each cycle, at the pre-cycle stage it obtained an average of 66.77 or 37.5%, in the first cycle stage it obtained an average of 72.61 or 65%, and in the first cycle stage it obtained an average of 72.61 or 65%. II obtained an average of 85.22 or 90%. Based on these data, it can be seen that there was an increase of 27.5% in the pre-cycle stage to the first cycle, an increase of 25% in the first cycle to the second cycle, and an increase of 52.5% in the pre-cycle stage to the second cycle. It can be concluded that the cooperative learning type think pair share can improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning.
