Abstract

This research to determine whether there is a significant relationship between classroom climate and students' learning motivation at the Depok City Nature School. The type of research used is correlational research. The population in this study was the fifth grade students of SD 5 Nature Schools, Depok City. The sample of this study amounted to 125 students, taken using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in this study using questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and product moment correlation analysis. The results showed that the class climate was included in the good category with an average score of 78.49 and learning motivation was included in the high category with an average score of 78.17. Based on the results of the hypothesis (product moment) obtained a correlation index number (rcount) of 0.685, which means that there is a correlation or relationship between the two variables that are included in the category of strong correlation coefficient. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between classroom climate and learning motivation of fifth graders at SD Sekolah Alam Depok City, which is indicated by hypothesis testing which shows rcount > rtable (0.685 > 0.175). Suggestions for teachers are expected to be able to bring up or create a positive classroom climate, in this way it can motivate students in learning.
