Abstract

UMKM B-Farm merupakan salah satu pengusaha yang bergerak dibidang peternakan khususnya menjual telur omega tiga. Telur yang dijual wajib menggunakan kemasan yang memiliki fungsi sebagai wadah, pelindung, menunjukkan identitas, menyampaikan informasi, membentuk citra perusahaan, dan ergonomik. UMKM B-Farm hanya menggunakan tray telur sebagai kemasannya, hal ini tidak memberikan perbedaan dengan perusahaan telur lainnya meskipun kualitas produk UMKM B-Farm lebih baik, Sulitnya membedakan telur ayam biasa dengan telur omega tiga karena bagian luarnya terlihat sama. Peneliti merancang sebuah desain kemasan telur omega dengan implementasi augmented reality yang memuat informasi tentang telur omega. Informasi dapat diakses dengan cara melakukan scanning QR code yang tertera pada desain kemasan telur omega, lalu memindainyamenggunakan smartphone. Metode penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu Metode D&D model J.Ellis & Levy dengan enam tahap yaitu: Identifikasi Masalah, Mendeskripsikan Tujuan, Desain dan Pengembangan, Uji Coba, Evaluasi Hasil Uji Coba, Mengkomunikasikan Hasil Ujicoba. Terdapat Uji coba ahli media dan Uji Coba pengguna media terhadap desain kemasan dan augmented reality. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa desain kemasan dengan implementasi augmented reality sangat layak digunakan sebagai media promosi pada UMKM B-Farm dengan persentase ahli media pada desain kemasan sebesar 100 %, pada augmented reality sebesar 83,33% skor tersebut tergolong kategori sangat layak digunakan. Sedangkan perolehan hasil angket respon pengguna media terhadap kemasan sebesar 90,62 %, dan augmented reality sebesar 90,31% yaitu tergolong kategori sangat baik. ------ UMKM B-Farm is one of the entrepreneurs engaged in animal husbandry, especially selling omega three eggs. Eggs sold are required to use packaging that has the function of a container, protector, show identity, convey information, form a company image, and ergonomics. B-Farm UMKM only use egg trays as packaging, this does not provide a difference from other egg companies even though the quality of B-Farm UMKM products is better, it is difficult to distinguish ordinary chicken eggs from omega three eggs because the outside looks the same. Researchers designed an omega egg packaging design with an augmented reality implementation that contains information about omega eggs. Information can be accessed by scanning the QR code listed on the omega egg packaging design, then scanning it using a smartphone. The research method used, namely the J. Ellis & Levy model D&D method with six stages, namely: Problem Identification, Describing Objectives, Design and development, Trial, Trial, Evaluation of Trial Results, Communicating Trial Results. There are media expert trials and media user trials on packaging design and augmented reality. The conclusion of this study shows that packaging design with the implementation of augmented reality is very feasible to be used as a promotional medium for B-Farm UMKM with a percentage of media experts in packaging design of 100%, in augmented reality of 83.33% the score is classified as a very feasible category to use. Meanwhile, the results of the questionnaire for the response of media users to packaging were 90.62%, and augmented reality was 90.31%, which is classified as an excellent category.
