Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat menjadi guru di Indonesia berdasarkan data yang dirilis oleh Kemendikbud pada tahun 2019 tentang hasil angket non kognitif siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh self-efficacy dan persepsi tentang profesi guru terhadap minat mahasiswa menjadi guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survei eksplanatori. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa pada program studi kependidikan di FPEB UPI Angkatan 2018. Dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling diperoleh sampel sebesar 193 mahasiswa. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) self-efficacy berpengaruh positif terhadap minat mahasiswa menjadi guru; (2) persepsi tentang profesi guru berpengaruh positif terhadap minat mahasiswa menjadi guru. Kata Kunci: Self-efficacy, Persepsi tentang Profesi Guru, Minat menjadi Guru ABSTRACT The background of this research is the low interest in becoming a teacher in Indonesia based on data obtained from the Kemendikbud in 2019 regarding the results of student non-cognitive questionnaires. The aim is to determine the effect of self-efficacy and perception of the teaching profession on students' interests in becoming a teacher. The research method used is an explanatory survey. The population in this study were all students of education study program at FPEB UPI 2018. Using a random sampling technique, a sample of 193 students was obtained. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results show: (1) self-efficacy had a positive effect on the interest in becoming a teacher, (2) perception of the teaching profession had a positive effect on the interest in becoming a teacher.
