Abstract
Latar Belakang: Di dalam aspek kesehatan diketahui semakin bertambah usia, maka sering mengalami keluhan kesehatan, hal ini memerlukan perhatian karena lanjut usia (Lansia) merupakan kelompok yang beresiko serta rentan terkena masalah kesehatan seperti hipertensi, dan diperkuat dengan kebiasaan merokok. Indikasi adanya lansia yang masih tetap merokok menjadi sangat penting untuk dikaji lebih lanjut mengingat lansia adalah perokok yang sangat rentan berisiko terkena masalah kesehatan yang serius. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan ntuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku merokok pada lansia di Dusun Mareleng Desa Cipelang Kecamatan Ujungjaya Kabupaten Sumedang. Metode Penelitian: Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriftif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling dan didapat besar sampel sebanyak 113 orang dari total populasi 155 orang. Cara pengumpulan data yaitu dengan kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa gambaran perilaku merokok pada lansia dengan kategori baik sebesar 82% responden berpengetahuan tentang bahaya rokok, lalu sebesar 69% responden memiliki sikap positif tentang rokok, dan 74% responden memiliki tindakan yang baik terhadap perilaku merokok. Background: In the health aspect, it is known that as you get older, you often experience health complaints, this requires attention because the elderly (elderly) are a group that is at risk and prone to health problems such as hypertension, and is reinforced by smoking habits. Indications of the presence of the elderly who still smoke are very important to be studied further considering the elderly are smokers who are very vulnerable to risk of serious health problems. Purpose: This study aims to determine the description of smoking behavior in the elderly in Mareleng Hamlet, Cipelang Village, Ujungjaya District, Sumedang Regency. Research Methods: This research method is a quantitative research using descriptive method. The sampling technique used was random sampling and obtained a large sample of 113 people from a total population of 155 people. The way of collecting data is by using a questionnaire and data analysis using descriptive analysis. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the description of smoking behavior in the elderly is in good category, 82% of respondents are knowledgeable about the dangers of smoking, then 69% of respondents have positive attitudes about smoking, and 74% of respondents have good actions towards smoking behavior.
