Abstract

Microsoft mengumumkan laporan tahunan bertajuk “Indeks Keberadaban Digital” atau “Digital Civility Index” yang mengatakan bahwa Indonesia menempati posisi pertama untuk masyarakat yang paling tidak sopan se-Asia di tahun 2020. Berkaca dari temuan tersebut Indonesia perlu memikirkan solusi dari tingginya angka DCI tersebut, terlebih mengenai Pendidikan karakter. Game edukasi “NOXIOUS” dapat menjadi sebuah solusi untuk memberikan Pendidikan karakter kepada remaja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui cara merancang game edukasi yang tepat untuk media Pendidikan karakter bagi remaja dan mengetahui hasil uji kelayakan media untuk penelitian game edukasi “NOXIOUS” bagi remaja. Game edukasi ini dirancang menggunakan Metode penelitian D&D dan model pengembangan ADDIE dan dilakukan uji kelompok kepada 60 orang siswa di Kabupaten Bandung. Berdasarkan field testing atau uji kelompok yang dilakukan kepada 60 orang siswa di Kabupaten Bandung, game NOXIOUS mendapat poin rata-rata yaitu 0,76 dan jika dibulatkan menjadi 1. Di dalam severity rating, poin 1 dapat diartikan kedalam kategori cosmetic problem, sehingga permasalahan tidak perlu diperbaiki kecuali waktu pengerjaan proyek masih tersedia dan game edukasi NOXIOUS layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran Pendidikan karakter. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah game edukasi NOXIOUS dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran bagi pendidikan karakter remaja. Microsoft announced an annual report titled "Digital Civility Index" which said that Indonesia was in first place for the most-polite people in Asia in 2020. This is especially true regarding character education. The educational game "NOXIOUS" could be a solution to provide character education to teenagers. The purpose of this study was to find out how to design the right educational game for character education media for teenagers and to find out the results of the media test for research on the educational game "Noxious" for teenagers. An educational game was designed using the ADDIE research model, and a group test was conducted on 60 students in Bandung Regency. Based on field testing or group testing conducted on 60 students in Bandung Regency, the NOXIOUS game gets an average score of 0.76, and if it is rounded up to 1. In the severity rating, point 1 can be interpreted as a cosmetic problem category, meaning that the problem does not need to be fixed unless the project time is still available and the NOXIOUS educational game is suitable for use as a learning medium for character education. The conclusion of this study is that the educational game NOXIOUS can be used as a learning medium for adolescent character education.
