Abstract
Peningkatan mutu pendidikan agar mampu bersaing secara global
terhadap perubahan sistem dan mekanisme pelaksanaan pembelajaran di sekolah.
harus dikelola secara profesional dan proposional, baik oleh jabatan
struktural/kepala sekolah maupun tenaga fungsional/guru untuk mencapai tujuan
kualitas pendidikan yang lebih baik.
Berdasarkan pengamatan dan pengalaman, dapat dijelaskan bahwa
kemampuan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kemampuan mengajar guru
merupakan salah satu faktor dalam pencapaian mutu pendidikan di sekolah.
Di sisi lain kinerja mengajar guru dalam melaksanakan tugas pokok dan
fungsinya sangat bervariasi serta kualitas kerja yang beragam, oleh karena itu
sangat penting dalam menelaah faktor-faktor yang berkonstribusi terhadap mutu
pendidikan di sekolah.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Kontribusi Profesional
kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru (2) Kontribusi prtofesional kepala sekolah
terhadap mutu pendidikan di sekolah .(3) Kontribusi kinerja guru terhadap mutu
pendidikan di sekolah. (4). Kontribusi kemampuan profesioanl kepala sekolah dan
kinerja mengajar guru terhadap mutu pendidikan di sekolah pada SMP Negeri di
Kabupaten Sumedang.
Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan konsep administrasi pendidikan,
profesioanlisme kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kinerja guru dan mutu pendidikan
disekolah dengan metode deskriptif korelasional dengan menggunakan kuesioner
atau angket, populasi target penelitian adalah pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama
Negeri di Kabupaten Sumedang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam rumus Purposive
Random Sampling.
Instrumen penelitian didasarkan reliabilitas untuk mengukur tingkat
kemudahan yang dihitung oleh rumus Range Spearman. Hasil uji coba
menunjukkan bahwa tingkat signifikasi sebagai berikut ; (1) Kepemimpinan
Kepala Sekolah TM = 0,99. (2) Kinerja mengajar guru mempunyai Hj
kepercayaan Tn =0,93. dan (3) Peningkatan mutu pendidikan disekolah Ru =
0.66.
Dengan menggunakan Analisis Regresi dan Korelasi, hasil penelitian ini
adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Terdapat konstribusi positif antara kepemimpinan
Kepala Sekolah (X() dengan peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah (Y), (2)
Terdapat konstribusi positif antara kinerja mengajar guru (X2) terhadap
peningkatan mutu pendidikan disekolah, (3) Terdapat konstribusi positif antara
kepimimpinan Kepala Sekolah (X|) dan kinerja mengajar guru (X2) dengan
peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah (y).
-----Development quality assurance ofeducation should compete globally and
this will effect through change ofeducation systemfirstfrom the term the termof
centralistic to decentralistic which is brand new paradigm over education system
and the turn out will create valuable output.
Consequently this will give some comprehension to the system change
and the study mechanism's process. Thechange should be managedprofesionally
and equally, whether both of structural position ( school leader) and also for
teacher to achieve better education purpose.
Based upon observation and experience this phenomenom can be
described that the abilty of school leader leadership and aptitude the way of
teaching is mainfactor in determining to achieve school *s goal strategically.
Otherside the teaching performance of teacher's vary on several function and
basic tasks, as well as working quality is very significant to study the relevant
factorsfor education quality.
The goal of the research is tofind out how to know: (I) The contribution
of school leader through teacher's performance profesionally (2) The
contribution of school leader through quality education (3) The contribution of
teacher through quality education (4) The contribution of school leader and
teacher's performance through quality assurance.
This research use main theory concept approach in education
administration, leadership of school leader, teacher perfomance, the quality of
education by using "descriptif corellation" methods. To measure the research
equipped by one oftools such as questioner, research population target that held
at SMPN Kabupaten Sumedang. Thesample research use "Purposive Random
Sampling"
The research instrument is based on the reliability to measure easiness
level by calculating theformula ofRange Spearman. The "trial error" outcome
shows to indicate the significantly as followed ; Leadership ofschool leader is
Tu = 0,99 . (2) The perfomance ofteachers have Hi reliabale Yjj =0,93. and (3)
Qualityeducation assurance Ru = 0.66.
By using ofRegration and correlation analysis, the research outcome is
(I) There are positive contribution between Leadership ofschool leader (Xj) and
quality education assurance (Y), (2) There are positive contribution between the
performance ofteachers (X2) through quality education assurance (3) There are
positive contribution between Leadership ofschool leader and theperformance of
teachers (X2) and quality education assurance (y).
