The internet has become a crucial part of students' lives since they can't avoid their academic tasks, which need them to use the internet to discover information and literature. Internet addiction has a wide range of negative impacts, one of which is a change in nutritional status as a result of an unhealthy diet. This study aimed at examining the nutritional health of college students addicted to the internet based on gender. This study employs quantitative research design with a comparative design. The population of this study is 365 college students from the classes of 2019, 2020, and 2021 who had experienced internet addiction with a sample of 191 respondents which was carried out using the Stratified Random Sampling. In addition, questionnaires and BMI calculations were used to collect data on internet addiction test results and a person's nutritional health. The findings of this study show that there are gender differences in nutritional status in internet addicted students, with males underweight 5 students 15.2%, normal weight 20 students 60.6%, pre-obesity 5 students 15.2%, Obesity I 3 students 9.1% and women who are underweight 45 students 28.5%, normal weight 91 students 57.6%, pre-obesity 18 students 11.4%, obesity I 3 students 1.9% and Obesity II 1 student 6%. The Wilcoxon signed rank test was used to compare the nutritional status of internet addicted students by gender, and the result was p-value = 0.158, where p-value > 0.05. This study concludes that there is a significant no difference between the nutritional status of internet addicted students in terms of gender.
