Abstract

Program pembelajaran berbasis kebun rumah yang diimplementasikan di luar jam pembelajaran di sekolah memiliki banyak manfaat bagi siswa khususnya dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan kesadaran berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam rangka membentuk karakter siswa yang kreatif, menambah pengalaman nyata dan baru bagi siswa serta membekali kriteria disposisi kreatif siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis pengaruh program pembelajaran berbasis kebun rumah terhadap kesadaran berkelanjutan, disposisi kreatif dan membentuk kreativitas siswa dalam menghasilkan produk atau karya kreatif siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yaitu Pre-Eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 58 siswa kelas 7 SMP, dimana dalam pelaksanaan siswa mengikuti kegiatan dalam program pembelajaran berbasis kebun rumah yang dilakukan secara rutin di rumah atau lingkungan sekitar. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner kesadaran berkelanjutan dan kuesioner disposisi kreatif dan rubrik penilaian dengan beberapa kriteria untuk menilai produk kreatif yang dihasilkan oleh siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui program pembelajaran berbasis kebun rumah terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap kesadaran berkelanjutan dan disposisi kreatif serta penilaian yang tergolong baik pada penilaian produk kreatif siswa dalam kelompoknya. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada kreativitas siswa, menambah pengalaman siswa, membentuk karakter kecintaan siswa terhadap lingkungan dan alam sekitar. ABSTRACT Home garden-based learning programs that are implemented outside of school hours have many benefits for students, especially in increasing creativity and sustainability consciousness. This research was conducted in order to shape the creative character of students, add their real and new experiences and provide criteria for students' creative dispositions. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyse the effect of home garden-based learning programs on sustainability consciousness, creative disposition and shaping student creativity in producing products or creative works of junior high school students. This study uses a quantitative method, namely pre-Experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 58 7th grade junior high school students. In the implementation, students participated in home garden-based learning program activities that were carried out routinely at home or in the surrounding environment. The research data was collected using research instruments in the form of a sustainability consciousness questionnaire and a creative disposition questionnaire and an assessment rubric with several criteria to assess the creative products produced by students. The results showed that through the home garden-based learning program, there was a significant increase in sustainability consciousness and creative disposition and also an assessment that is classified as good on the assessment of students' creative products in their groups. This research has implications for students' creativity, increasing student experience, forming the character of students' love for the environment and nature.
