Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar pada mata kuliah praktik otomotif dengan sistem pembelajaran daring di DPTM FPTK UPI. Pandemi Covid-19 memaksa kegiatan belajar dilakukan secara daring, sehingga mahasiswa yang melaksanakan mata kuliah praktik tidak bisa melakukan pembelajaran praktikum seperti biasanya. Hal ini dapat mempengaruhi motivasi belajar mahasiswa, perubahan motivasi belajar dikhawatirkan dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode ex post facto. Sampel yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Mesin konsentrasi Otomotif DPTM FPTK UPI Angakatan 2018 yang berjumlah 45 orang. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Jawaban untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi belajar mahasiswa menggunakan instrumen tes berupa angket, dan untuk mengetahui data hasil belajar menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Instrumen angket motivasi belajar mengungkapkan bahwa rata-rata mahasiswa memiliki tingkat motivasi belajar yang rendah dengan skor 79 atau 56,4% dari skor maksimum. Data hasil belajar yang didapatkan juga menunjukkan hasil belajar mahasiswa tergolong rendah dengan rata-rata 43,4 dari skor maksimum 100. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah praktik otomotif dengan sistem pembelajaran daring. The Covid-19 pandemic forces learning activities to be carried out online, so students who carry out practical courses cannot do practical learning as usual. This can affect student learning motivation, changes in learning motivation are feared to affect learning outcomes. The method used in this research is the ex post facto method. The sample selected in this study were students of Mechanical Engineering Education with the concentration of Automotive DPTM FPTK UPI Class 2018 with the total of 45 people. The sample was selected by purposive sampling technique. The answer to determine the level of student motivation to learn using a test instrument in the form of a questionnaire, and to find out the data on learning outcomes using documentation techniques. The learning motivation questionnaire instrument revealed that the average student had a low level of learning motivation with a score of 79 or 56.4% of the maximum score. The learning outcomes data obtained also show that student learning outcomes are low with an average of 43.4 out of a maximum score of 100. The results of this study indicate that learning motivation has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in automotive practice courses with an online learning system.
