Abstract

Keterampilan riset merupakan salah satu keterampilan teknis yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa dalam mengahadapi tantangan abad 21. Keterampilan riset pada penelitian ini mengacu pada keterampilan berpikir dalam merencanakan dan melaksanakan riset yang diukur menggunakan tes pada tingkat otonomi bounded research dalam Research Skills Development Framework yang dikembangakan oleh Willison 2018. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, dengan sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas X (90 siswa), kelas XI (57 siswa), dan kelas XII (68 siswa). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes keterampilan riset berupa soal pilihan ganda dan angket keterampilan riset. Pemberian tes dilakukan secara online (melalui google classroom) dan secara offline (tes berbasis kertas). Capaian keterampilan riset tertinggi diperoleh kelas XII dengan kategori capaian baik, sedangkan kelas X dan XII termasuk ke dalam kategori cukup. Adapun capaian keterampilan riset kelompok siswa laki-laki dan perempuan termasuk ke dalam kategori cukup. Akan tetapi, skor rata-rata tes keterampilan riset kelompok laki-laki lebih tinggi dibandingkan perempuan. Capaian keterampilan riset pada masing-masing indikator yaitu indikator memulai dan mengklarifikasi masalah penelitian (embark and clarify) termasuk ke dalam kategori kurang. Kemudian, capaian keterampilan riset pada indikator mengevaluasi dan merefleksikan proses penelitian (evaluate and reflect), mengorganisasi data/informasi dan mengelola proses penelitian (organise and manage), serta mengkomunikasikan dan menerapkan hasil penelitian (communicate and apply) termasuk ke dalam kategori cukup. Lalu, capaian keterampilan riset indikator menemukan dan menghasilkan data/informasi (find and generate), serta menganalisis dan mensintesis data/informasi (analyse and synthesise) termasuk ke dalam kategori baik.; Research skill is one of the technical skills that must be possessed by students in facing the challenges of the 21st century. Research skills in this study refer to thinking skills in planning and carrying out research which is measured using tests at the level of autonomy bounded research in the Research Skills Development Framework developed by Willison 2018. The research method used is descriptive, with the research sample consisting of class X (90 students), class XI (57 students), and class XII (68 students). The instrument used in this study was a research skills test in the form of multiple choice questions and a research skills questionnaire. The test is administered online (via google classroom) and offline (paper-based test). The highest achievement in research skills was obtained by class XII with good achievement category, while class X and XII were included in the sufficient category. The achievement of research skills of male and female student groups is included in the sufficient category. However, the average score on the research skills test of the male group was higher than of the female group. The achievement of research skills in each indicator, namely: the indicator for embarking and clarifying research problems is included in the poor category. Then, the achievements of research skills on indicators for evaluating and reflecting on the research process, organize data/information and manage the research process, communicate and apply research results are included in the sufficient category. Then, the achievement of indicator research skills in finding and generating data/information, analyzing and synthesizing data/information are included in the good category.
