Abstract

Beluk di Desa Ciapus, Banjaran adalah salah satu kesenian tradisional yang terancam punah. Dari sekian banyaknya grup kesenian yang berada di Desa Ciapus, hanya tersisa satu grup lagi dan itu pun sudah jarang mementaskan beluk. Hal ini dikarenakan faktor regenerasi yang sulit, menuanya praktisi beluk, dan masyarakat pendukung yang sudah tidak tertarik dan memerlukan kesenian yang berasal dari Jawa Barat ini. Tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu (1) menelaah dan mendeskripsikan keberadaan tradisi lisan kesenian beluk yang mencakup struktur pertunjukan, struktur teks, konteks, proses penciptaan, fungsi, dan nilai pendidikan karakter; (2) memanfaatkan hasil penelitian yang mencakup proses transformasi dari wawacan ke dalam novel, dan penyusunan buku pengayaan pengembangan kepribadian di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) analisis struktur pertunjukan, struktur teks, konteks, proses penciptaan, fungsi, dan nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam kesenian beluk; (2) menyusun buku pengayaan pengembangan kepribadian untuk siswa SMA. Produk yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini adalah buku pengayaan berbentuk novel hasil dari analisis dan transformasi. Novel ini menjadi sebuah referensi bacaan untuk siswa, guru, dan khalayak umum. Beluk in Ciapus Village, Banjaran is one of the endangered traditional arts. Of the many art groups in the village of Ciapus, there is only one group left, and that too rarely performs beluk. This is due to the difficult regeneration factor, the growing popularity of beluk practitioners, and supporting communities who are no longer interested and need art originating from West Java. The purpose of this study, namely (1) to examine and describe the existence of oral traditions of beluk art which includes the performance structure, text structure, context, process of creation, function, and value of character education; (2) utilizing the results of research that includes the process of transformation from wawacan into novels, and preparation of enrichment books for personality development in high school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study are (1) analysis of the structure of the show, the structure of the text, the context, the process of creation, function, and value of character education contained in beluk art; (2) compiling personality development enrichment books for high school students. The product produced from this research is a novel enrichment book as a result of analysis and transformation. This novel becomes a reading reference for students, teachers, and the general public.
