Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui latar belakang terciptanya Tari Nyi Mas Gandasari, mendeskripsikan karakteristik pada Tari Nyi Mas Gandasari, mendeskripsikan upaya Sanggar Seni Panji Asmara dalam mengembangkan Tari Nyi Mas Gandasari di Cirebon serta menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam Tari Nyi Mas Gandasari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitik dengan analisis semiotika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai-nilai pendidikan pada Tari Nyi Mas Gandasari yaitu: nilai imajinasi kreatif, nilai pemecahan masalah, nilai cara berfikir, berbuat, menilai, nilai estetika, nilai ketakwaan, nilai budi pekerti, nilai tata krama, nilai kecerdasan dan nilai kepribadian. The purpose of this study was to determine the background of the creation of Nyi Mas Gandasari Dance, to describe the characteristics of Nyi Mas Gandasari Dance, describe the efforts of the Panji Asmara Art Studio in developing Nyi Mas Gandasari Dance in Cirebon and analyze the educational values contained in Nyi Mas Dance. Gandasari. This study uses a qualitative approach with an analytical descriptive method with semiotic analysis. The results showed that there were educational values in Nyi Mas Gandasari Dance, namely: the value of creative imagination, the value of problem solving, the value of ways of thinking, acting, judging, aesthetic values, the value of piety, the value of character, the value of manners, the value of intelligence and values. personality.
