Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya sikap percaya diri yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa SMP untuk dapat diaplikasikan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah ataupun dalam kehidupan sehari-hari agar dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan mengambil salah satu kelas IIV di SMP Negeri 38 Bandung sebanyak 38 siswa, instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi langsung dengan tahapan melihat populasi, menentukan sampel, melakukan pre test, melaksanakan treatment, melakukan post test, pengolahan data dan membuat kesimpulan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji-t dengan membandingkan pre test dan post test. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dan hasil pengujian hipotesis maka pembelajaran taekwondo tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepercayaan diri siswa, untuk meningkatkan percaya diri siswa guru dapat mempertimbangkan kembali jika akan menggunakan pembelajaran beladiri. Kata Kunci: pembelajaran, taekwondo, kepercayaan diri This research was motivated by the importance of confident attitude that must be owned by the junior high school students to be applied in the learning process at school or in everyday life in order to improve student achievement. This research method using the experimental method, the sample in the study using purposive sampling by taking one of the VII grade students at SMP Negeri 38 Bandung, instruments used in this study is the direct observation of the stages look populations, determine the sample, do the pre-test, implement treatment, do a post test, processing the data and make conclusions. Data analysis technique used is the Uji-t to compare pre-test and post test. Based on the results of data processing and the results of testing the hypothesis that learning taekwondo no effect on students self-confidence, to increase the confidence of students teacher may reconsider if will use the learning martial.
