Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa sudah mulai memiliki minat dalam melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi, namun faktanya masih banyak siswa yang tidak melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran motivasi belajar, lingkungan keluarga, dan minat melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi, serta pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap minat melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa Program Keahlian Akuntansi SMK di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini didasari oleh Theory of Planned Behavior mengenai perilaku individu. Menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa penyebaran kuesioner terhadap 624 siswa sebagai populasi, namun menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling sehingga sampel menjadi 244 siswa. Uji validitas instrumen menggunakan korelasi product moment dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan alpha cronbach. Uji asumsi klasik meliputi uji normalitas, uji linearitas, uji multikolinearitas, dan uji heteroskedastisitas. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan regresi linear multipel. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan yaitu uji keberartian regresi (Uji t), dan keberartian regresi (Uji F). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) motivasi belajar berpengaruh postitif terhadap minat melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi diketahui dengan hasil thitungttabel, yaitu 3,590 > 1,97. (2) lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh postitif terhadap minat melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi diketahui dengan hasil thitungttabel, yaitu 2,660 > 1,97. Sehingga hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa motivasi belajar dan lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh postitif terhadap minat melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa Program Keahlian Akuntansi di SMK Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Adapun saran yang dapat diberikan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan motivasi belajar mengenai rasa senang mencari dan memecahkan permasalahan, serta dukungan dari lingkungan keluarga dalam meningkatkan minat siswa dalam melanjutkan studi ke perguruan tinggi. The purpose of this study is to find out the description of learning motivation, family environment, and interest in continuing their studies to college, as well as the influence of student learning motivation and family environment on interest in continuing their studies to college in students of the Accounting Skills Program of Vocational Schools in Tasikmalaya Regency. This research is based on the Theory of Planned Behavior regarding individual behavior. Using descriptive and verification methods. Data collection techniques in the form of distributing questionnaires to 624 students as a population, but using proportional random sampling technique so that the sample becomes 244 students. Test the validity of the instrument using product moment correlation and reliability test using alpha cronbach. Classical assumption test includes normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. Data analysis technique using multiple linear regression. The hypothesis test used is the regression significance test (t test), and the regression significance (F test). The results of this study indicate that (1) learning motivation has a positive effect on interest in continuing their studies to college, it is known by the results of tcount t table, which is 3,590 > 1.97. (2) the family environment has a positive effect on the interest in continuing their studies to higher education, it is known by the results of tcount t table, namely 2.660 > 1.97. So the results of this study indicate that learning motivation and family environment have a positive effect on the interest in continuing their studies to college in students of the Accounting Skills Program at SMK Tasikmalaya Regency. The suggestions that can be given from this research are to increase learning motivation regarding the pleasure of finding and solving problems, as well as support from the family environment in increasing students' interest in continuing their studies to college.
