Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Cipeundeuy Kec. Cipeundeuy Kab. Subang yang dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini maka dilakukan pembelajaran menggunakan model role playing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa pada tema 7 peristiwa dalam kehidupan melalui model pembelajaran role playing. Dengan menggunakan model role playing siswa akan lebih mudah memahami materi karena terlibat langsung dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilakukan dalam 2 siklus yakni siklus 1 dan siklus 2 disetiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi serta refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah murid kelas V B yang berjumlah 21 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan non tes (observasi). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru selama pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan pada siklus 1 diperoleh 67% (cukup) dan siklus 2 diperoleh 82% serta ketuntasan belajar siswa dengan nilai rata-rata siklus pertama nilai belajar klasikal siswa 62,61 dengan ketuntasan belajarnya 38% serta aktivitas belajar siswa 52% degan kriteria cukup aktif. Sementara siklus kedua nilai rata-rata belajar klasikal siswa naik menjadi 82,8 dengan ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 86% dan aktivitas belajar siswa 80% dengan kriteria aktif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa model role playing dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Untuk itu model role playing bisa dijadikan alternatif model dalam pembelajaran dengan tetap memperhatikan karakteristik materi dan kondisi siswa. To overcome this problem, learning is done using the role playing model. This study aims to increase student activity on the theme of 7 events in life through role playing learning models. By using the role playing model students will more easily understand the material because it is directly involved in learning. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in 2 cycles namely cycle 1 and cycle 2 in each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class V B which numbered 21 students. Data collection techniques used are test and non-test (observation). Data analysis techniques used qualitative analysis. The results showed that teacher activity during learning increased in cycle 1 obtained 67% (enough) and cycle 2 obtained 82% and student learning completeness with the average value of the first cycle classical learning value of students 62.61 with 38% learning completeness and activity student learning 52% with fairly active criteria. While the second cycle of classical student learning scores rose to 82.8 with student learning completeness reaching 86% and student learning activities 80% with active criteria. Based on the results of these studies, it was concluded that the role playing model can improve student learning activities and outcomes. For that role playing model can be used as an alternative model in learning while taking into account the material characteristics and conditions of students.
