Abstract
Aspek yang melatarbelakangi dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah adanya keinginan memperbaiki pembelajaran tema Lingkungan Sahabat Kita siswa Kelas 5 SD Negeri Jomin Timur I. Model pembelajaran yang menjadi acuan penelitian adalah dengan menerapkan model Project Based Learning (PJBL), yang dapat memancing kreativitas siswa dalam berpikir yang nanti akan menghasilakan masukan sesuai dengan tema yang diajarkan. Adapun desain penelitiannya merujuk desain Arikunto melalui 2 kali siklus penelitian. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian adalah terdapat perubahan yang cukup menggembirakan setelah melakukan tindakan dibandingkan sebelum melakukan tindakan. Model Project Based Learning ini mendapat hasil yang baik, murid-murid aktif dalam membuat projek berdasakan LKK pada batas waktu yang disediakan. Begitupula hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I 65,7% dan meningkat siklus II 94,2% dari total murid sebanyak 35 orang hanya 2 murid belum tuntas dalam pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model Project Based Learning. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terbukti model Project Based Learning dapat memperbaiki pembelajaran yang ada di kelas dengan meningkatnya hasil belajar pada setiap siklusnya. Kata Kunci: Model Project Based Learning, Tema Lingkungan Sahabat Kita ----- The background aspect of this research is the desire to develop environmental theme learning material for our best friend, Grade 5 students at SD Negeri Jomin Timur I. The learning model that is the reference for research is to apply the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model, which can stimulate students' creativity in thinking later it will produce input according to the theme being taught. The research design refers to the Arikunto design through 2 research cycles. The results obtained in the study are there are changes that are quite encouraging after taking action compared to taking action. This PjBL model gets a good response, where students are active in making projects based on LKK on the time restrictions provided. Likewise, student learning outcomes experienced an increase in cycle I 65,7% and increased cycle II 94,2% of the total students as many as 35 people only 2 students were not completed in learning by applying themodel Project Based Learning. Thus it can be concluded that the provenmodel Project Based Learning can improve existing learning in the classroom with increasing learning outcomes in each cycle.
