Abstract
ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi langsung di kelas pada kegiatan studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan disalah satu SMP di Kota Bandung diperoleh bahwa terdapat masalah pada saat proses pembelajaran yaitu siswa kurang terfasilitasi dalam menerima materi atau konsep essensial pada materi gaya yang diajarkan. Masalah tersebut memunculkan kesulitan-kesulitan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, yaitu pemahaman konsep siswa yang kurang dan tahap pola pikir siswa yang beragam dalam menerima materi yang disampaikan. Dalam merencanakan suatu pembelajaran, guru sebaiknya dapat memprediksikan respon siswa apa saja yang mungkin muncul, sehingga guru dapat memberikan tindakan yang sesuai dan dapat mengatasi kesulitan belajar setiap siswa. Oleh karena itu untuk mempersiapkan prediksi respon siswa dalam pembelajaran perlu adanya suatu hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) yang tepat. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pembelajaran fisika menggunakan perencanaan pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada HLT untuk menganalisis profil respon dan pemahaman konsep siswa, maka metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar observasi dan tes pemahaman konsep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar respon-respon yang muncul sudah sesuai dengan prediksi yang telah ditentukan pada hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) sehingga sesuai dengan alur yang telah dirancang sebelumnya dan siswa dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Dari respon-respon yang muncul pada tiap sub materi, siswa cenderung berada pada tahap berpikir operasional konkrit. Penentuan yang tepat dalam memprediksi respon siswa juga berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. Profil pemahaman konsep siswa yang diperoleh juga menunjukkan nilai yang baik. Dengan demikian dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran fisika yang berorientasi hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) telah membantu sebagian siswa keluar dari kesulitan khususnya pemahaman konsep siswa tentang gaya dan tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditentukan dapat tercapai. Kata kunci : Hypothetical Learning Trajectory(HLT), Pemahaman konsep siswa. ABSTRACT Based on interviews and direct observation in the classroom on a preliminary study conducted activities in a junior high school in Bandung gained that there is a problem during the learning process that students are less facilitated in receiving the material or essential concepts in the style of the material being taught. These problems led to the difficulties of students in the learning process, namely the lack of conceptual understanding of the student and phase diverse student mindset in receiving the material presented. In planning a lesson, the teacher should be able to predict the response of any students that may arise, so that teachers can provide appropriate measures to overcome difficulties and learn each student. Therefore, to prepare students in the learning predictive response needs to be a hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) is appropriate. In this research, using a physics lesson planning HLT-oriented learning to analyze the profile responses and conceptual understanding of student, the method used in this research is descriptive method. Data collected through observation sheets and test understanding of the concept. The results showed that most of the responses that appear are in accordance with the predictions that have been determined on the hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) to fit the grooves that had been previously designed and students can achieve the learning objectives. From the responses that appear on each sub material, students tend to be at the stage of concrete operational thinking. Determination of precise in predicting students’ responses also affect the students’ conceptual understanding. Students’ understanding of the concept of profiles obtained also showed a good value. Thus the results of the data analysis it can be concluded that the learning-oriented physics hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT) has helped some students out of trouble, especially conceptual understanding of student learning styles and goals that have been set can be achieved.
