Abstract

Abstrak Representasi sub mikroskopik merupakan representasi yang tersulit untuk dipahami siswa. Hal ini disebabkan pembelajaran yang sering mengabaikan level submit kroskopik. Salah satu media yang dapat mengatasi kesulitan dalam mengajarkan level sub mikroskopik adalah software pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan penyajian representasi kimia dalam buku teks kimia dan media yang sesuai untuk membelajarkan materi laju reaksi.Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Researchand Development. Responden penelitian adalah 9 orang dosen, 10 orang mahasiswa, dan 19 orang siswa SMA. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Angket Kelayakan Software dan Tabel Penyajian Representasi Kimia dalam Buku Teks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan buku teks sekolah menyajikan tiga level representasi kimia secara lengkap, sedangkan buku teks perguruan tinggi tidak menyajikan tiga level representasi dengan lengkap dan media yang sesuai untuk menyajikan representasi kimi aadalah software pembelajaran. Kata Kunci : Representasi kimia, lajureaksi, software pembelajaran Abstract Submicroscopic representation is the most difficult representation to understand. It is because the teaching often neglects submicroscopic representation. One of the media to overcome the difficulty of submicroscopic level teaching is learning software. This research was aimed at presenting a description of the chemical representation in textbooks and determining appropriate media to teach it. The method used in this research is research and development method. The respondents are 6 lectures, 10 college students, and 19 senior high school students. Questionnaire is used to collect the data. The findings show that school textbooks present 3 level of representation completely while college textbooks do not. Furthermore, appropriate media to present 3 levels of representation is the learning software. Key Words : chemical representation, rate of reactions, educational software
