Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan berdasarkan studi pendahuluan dan observasi yang dilakukan peneliti di SMK Nasional Bandung dimana terdapat banyak siswa yang nilainya kurang dari Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM). Hal yang menjadi daya tarik adalah kurangnya inisiatif guru untuk mencoba metode pembelajaran lain selain metode pembelajaran demonstrasi. Penelitian ini menjawab permasalahan penelitian yang telah dirumuskan, yaitu “Apakah terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi dalam standar kompetensi animasi dasar pokok bahasan menguasai cara menggambar kunci untuk animasi di SMK Nasional Bandung?”. Secara lebih rinci rumusan masalah terdiri dari “Apakah terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi pada aspek mengaplikasikan (C3) dan aspek menganalisis (C4) ranah kognitif dalam standar kompetensi animasi dasar pokok bahasan menguasai cara menggambar kunci untuk animasi di SMK Nasional Bandung?” Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes objektif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 orang. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan perhitungan skor total tiap instrumen, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di lapangan, dapat diambil kesimpulan, bahwa Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada aspek mengaplikasikan (C3) dan aspek menganalisis (C4) ranah kognitif dalam standar kompetensi animasi dasar di SMK Nasional Bandung; Berdasarkan pernyataan tersebut maka diberikan rekomendasi, yaitu pembelajaran pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw menjadi salah satu alternatif metode pembelajaran dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Abstract The study was based on preliminary studies and observations conducted by researcher at the Nasional Vocational School Bandung where there were many students who scored less than Standard of Minimum Completeness. The main attraction is the lack of teachers' initiative to try other learning methods than demonstration learning methods. This study answers the research problem that has been defined, such as "Are there the influence of Jigsaw-Typed Cooperative Learning Methods on students' learning results as compared to Demonstration Learning Methods in Competence Standard of Basic Animation in basic subject of mastering how to draw keys for animation in Nasional Vocational School Bandung?" More detailed the formulation of the problem consists of : Are there the influence of Jigsaw-Typed Cooperative Learning Methods on students' learning results as compared to Demonstration Learning Methods in applying (C3) and analyzing (C4) cognitive aspect in Competence Standard of Basic Animation in basic subject of mastering how to draw keys for animation in Nasional Vocational School Bandung?" This research uses quasi-experimental method with Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The instruments used are objective test. Sampling technique used is cluster random sampling with the sample total is 30 people. The analysis data technique is done by calculating the total score of each instrument, normality test, homogeneity test, and hipotesys test. Based on the results of research in the field, it can be concluded, that Learning by using jigsaw-typed cooperative learning methods gave a significant influence on students' learning results in applying (C3) and analyzing (C4) cognitive aspect in Competence Standard of Basic Animation in Nasional Vocational School Bandung; based on the statement then given recommendation, that is jigsaw-typed cooperative learning is an alternative learning method with the goal to improve students’ learning results.
