Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil uji kompetensi kepala sekolah yang dilaksanakan pada tahun 2015 oleh BPSDMPK-PMP Kemendikbud, menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh Kepala Sekolah Dasar hanya mencapai angka 44,43. Selain itu penulis juga menemukan bahwa di Kota Cirebon baru ada 63 dari 125 SD Negeri di Kota Cirebon yang memiliki status akreditasi A. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut tersebut, penulis tertarik untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh antara penguasaan kompetensi dengan hasil kinerja kepala sekolah di SD Negeri Se-Kota Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket tertutup yang disebarkan kepada 40 orang kepala sekolah yang telah mengikuti diklat penguatan. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi signifikansi yang dilakukan, didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti bahwa bahwa Variabel X (Diklat Penguatan Kepala Sekolah) berpengaruh terhadap Variabel Y (Kinerja Kepala Sekolah). Adapun hasil perhitungan analisis koefisien determinasi,sebesar 87,9% dan 12,1% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Maka dari itu akan lebih baik apabila ada penelitian lain yang dapat menemukan faktor-faktor terkait lainnya yang dapat secara langsung mempengaruhi kinerja kepala sekolah. Kata Kunci: Diklat Penguatan, Kinerja, Kepala Sekolah THE EFFECT OF STRENGTHENING TRAINING ON PRINCIPALS ON THE PERFORMANCE PRINCIPAL AT PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN CIREBON CITY ABSTRACT Based on the results of the principal competency test conducted in 2015 by the BPSDMPK-PMP of the Ministry of Education and Culture, it shows that the average competency score of the elementary school principal only reaches 44.43. In addition, the authors also found that in the city of Cirebon there are only 63 of the 125 public elementary schools in the city of Cirebon that have accreditation status A. With these problems, the authors are interested in knowing whether there is an influence between mastery of competence and the results of the principal's performance at public elementary school in Cirebon City. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique was carried out using a closed questionnaire which was distributed to 40 school principals who had attended strengthening training. Based on the results of the significance correlation test conducted, a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, which means that Variable X (Principal Strengthening Training) has an effect on Variable Y (Principal Performance). The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination analysis are 87.9% and the remaining 12.1% are influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Therefore, it would be better if there are other studies that can find other related factors that can directly affect the performance of the principal.
