Abstract
Keterbatasan akses Sekolah Luar Biasa A (SLB A) yang disebabkan oleh penyebaran lokasi yang kurang merata di Kota Bandung, merupakan salah satu permasalahan rendahnya partisipasi penyandang Tunanetra dalam pendidikan formal. Kurangnya fasilitas SLB A di pusat pelayanan wilayah Kota Bandung bagian timur, memberikan gambaran bahwa wilayah ini membutuhkan fasilitas publik berupa SLB A. Berdasarkan RDTR Kota Bandung Tahun 2015-2035, Kecamatan Gedebage diarahkan pada beberapa program pengembangan, salah satunya fasilitas pendidikan. Tujuan dari perancangan ini adalah menyediakan SLB A yang sesuai dengan standar dan kriteria perancangan. Metode yang digunakan merupakan penerapan dari standar dan kriteria Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional No. 33 Tahun 2008, ADA (American Disability of Act) 2010 dan Guidance for Mainstream and Special Schools (2008). Hasil yang diperolah berupa konsep perancangan SLB A yang memenuhi standar dan kriteria perancangan. Penerapan standar dan kriteria diperlihatkan dalam sistem, bangunan, dan tapak pada perancangan. Kata kunci: SLB, Tunanetra, Gedebage Planning and Designing Special Schools for Blind Gedebage Novia Andriani NIM. 1305270 ABSTRACT The limited access of Special School for Blind due to the unequal distribution of locations in the city of Bandung, is one of the problems of the low participation of persons with visual impairments in formal education. The lack of Special School for Blind facilities in the service center of the eastern part of Bandung City, illustrates that this region requires public facilities in the form of Special School for Blind. Based on Bandung City RDTR in 2015-2035, Gedebage District is directed at several development programs, which one of them is educational facilities. The purpose of this design is to provide Special School for Blind in accordance with the standards and design criteria. The method used is the application of the standards and criteria of the Minister of National Education Regulation No. 33 of 2008, ADA (American Disability of Act) 2010 and Guidance for Mainstream and Special Schools (2008). The results obtained are in the form of the design concept of Special School for Blind that meets the design standards and criteria. The application of standards and criteria is shown in systems, buildings, and sites in design.
