Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya pandemi covid-19 yang mengakibatkan pemindahan pembelajaran tatap muka ke pembelajaran daring. Sehingga diperlukan penggunaan media yang mampu menunjang seluruh aktivitas pembelajaran. Adapun media pembelajaran yang dipilih yaitu whatsapp. Penggunaan whatsapp sebagai media pembelajaran menuntut guru untuk lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam menyelenggarakan pembelajaran daring. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menggambarkan kemampuan guru menggunakan media whatsapp dalam menerapkan standar proses pembelajaran meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif eksplanatori dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru kelas rendah SDN 2 Cimareme. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Sedangkan teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa 1) Kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media whatsapp yang dilakukan meliputi penyusunan jadwal pembelajaran, fitur whatsapp yang digunakan, dan metode pembelajaran. Sedangkan perencanaan yang dirumuskan dalam RPP baik komponen dan proses pembelajaran belum terencana dengan baik. 2) Kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media whatsapp yang dilakukan meliputi kegiatan memeriksa kehadiran, menyampaikan cakupan materi, menyajikan materi, dan memberikan umpan balik. Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan melalui beberapa fitur whatsapp yaitu emoji, teks, gambar/foto, voice note, video dan video call. 3) Kemampuan guru dalam mengevaluasi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media whatsapp yang dilakukan meliputi penilaian akhir pembelajaran dan penilaian sumatif. ----- This research was motivated by the Covid-19 pandemic which resulted in the transfer of face-to-face learning to online learning. So it is necessary to use media that can support all learning activities. The learning media chosen is whatsapp. The use of whatsapp as a learning medium requires teachers to be more creative and innovative in conducting online learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the ability of teachers to use whatsapp media in applying the standard of the learning process including planning, implementing and evaluating learning. The method used in this research is descriptive explanatory method using a qualitative approach. The participants in this study were low grade teachers at SDN 2 Cimareme. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and document analysis. While the data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study stated that 1) The teacher's ability to plan learning using whatsapp media which was carried out included the preparation of learning schedules, whatsapp features used, and the learning methods. While the planning formulated in the lesson plans, both components and the learning process have not been well planned. 2) The ability of teachers to carry out learning using WhatsApp media which includes activities to check attendance, convey material coverage, present material, and provide feedback. These activities are carried out through several WhatsApp features, namely emoji, text, images/photos, voice notes, video and video calls. 3) The ability of teachers to evaluate learning using WhatsApp media which includes the final assessment of learning and summative assessments.
