Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perubahan mengajar dari konvensional ke pembelajaran jarak jauh sehingga menyebabkan adanya tantangan dan strategi berbeda dari guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru PAUD dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh selama pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan wawancara. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan Miles and Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tantangan guru PAUD yakni persiapan guru menghadapi pembelajaran jarak jauh, perencanaan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan media yang menarik, penilaian perkembangan anak, pengoperasian perangkat teknologi dan hambatan sinyal. Kemudian peran kepala sekolah dalam menyusun langkah strategis serta pengelolaan. Strategi yang dilakukan guru yakni komunikasi dengan orang tua, mempersiapkan rencana pembelajaran, metode beserta media pembelajaran, kegiatan pembelajaran dilakukan anak, dan teknik evaluasi. Proses pembelajaran dapat terlaksana secara optimal jika kerjasama dengan orang tua, mengingat pembelajaran jarak jauh dilakukan dari rumah. ----- This research is motivated by the change in teaching from conventional to distance learning, causing different challenges and strategies for teachers. This study aims to describe the strategies of PAUD teachers in implementing distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive type. Data collection techniques used were interviews. The data collected were analyzed using Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that there are challenges for PAUD teachers, namely teacher preparation for distance learning, planning learning activities with interesting media, assessing child development, operating technology devices and signal barriers. Then the role of the principal in formulating strategic steps and management. The strategy used by the teacher is communication with parents, preparing lesson plans, methods and learning media, learning activities carried out by children, and evaluation techniques. The learning process can be carried out optimally if there is cooperation with parents, considering that distance learning is carried out from home.
