Abstract

Pendidikan karakter bukan hanya sekedar mengajarkan mana yang benar dan mana yang salah. Lebih dari itu, pendidikan karakter adalah usaha menanamkan kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang baik (habituation) sehingga peserta didik mampu bersikap dan bertindak berdasarkan nilai-nilai yang telah menjadi kepribadiannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan Mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam animasi Riko The Series dan Mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai-nilai karakter yang terdapat pada animasi Riko The Series pada pembelajaran. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dan metode yang digunakan adalah analisis isi. Data penelitian yang digunakan adalah animasi dengan judul Riko The Series, produksi garis sepuluh. Nilai-nilai karakter yang digunakan dalam proses mereduksi data adalah nilai-nilai karakter menurut Kemendiknas. Jumlah nilai-nilai karakter menurut Kemendiknas berjumlah 18, ialah religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Hasil penelitian ini adalah animasi Riko The Series dapat digunakan sebagai peneladanan bagi anak-anak usia sekolah dasar terutama tentang pentingnya rasa ingin tahu, beriman/religius, dan jujur dengan bimbingan guru dan orang tua. Kata kunci: Nilai Karakter, Pembelajaran Karakter, Animasi ABSTRACT Character education is not just teaching what is right and what is wrong. More than that, character education is an effort to instill good habits (habituations) so that students are able to behave and act based on the values that have become their personalities. This study aims to describe the character values in the Riko The Series animation and describe the implementation of the character values contained in the Riko The Series animation in learning. The approach used in this research is qualitative research and the method used is content analysis. The research data used is animation with the title Riko The Series, ten line production. The animation is watched carefully for later analysis of the character values contained. The character values used in the data reduction process are the character values according to the Ministry of National Education. The number of character values according to the Ministry of National Education is 18, namely religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love for the homeland, respect for achievement, friendly/communicative, peace-loving, fond of reading, environmental care, social care, and responsibility.The results of this study are Riko The Series animation can be used as an example for elementary school age children, especially about the importance of curiosity, faith/religion, and honesty with the guidance of teachers and parents.
