Abstract

Model pembelajaran yang tepat sangat penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran STM adalah proses belajar yang menggabungkan Sains dengan menghubungkan pada lingkungan masyarakat dan teknologi yang dinilai tepat untuk dijadikan model pembelajaran IPA di SD. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis proses pembelajaran dan faktor pendukung keberhasilan model pembelajaran Sains, Teknologi, dan Masyarakat pada mata pelajaran IPA di SDN Bojonegara 1. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Studi Kasus dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan data wawancara, observasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran menggunakan sintaks pembelajaran STM yaitu invitasi, eskplorasi, solusi, aplikasi, pemantapan konsep, dan penilaian. Sedangkan untuk faktor pendukung pembelajaran STM yaitu kreativitas siswa yang meningkat, berpikir kritis, motivasi belajar meningkat, pembelajaran secara konkrit di kehidupan sehari-hari, pembelajaran yang mengaitkan pada teknologi. Tes yang diberikan menunjukkan bahwa dari 30 siswa sebanyak 97% siswa dapat mengerjakan soal di atas nilai minimum yang ditentukan. Oleh karena itu penggunaan model pembelajaran Sains, Teknologi, dan Masyarakat (STM) pada mata pelajaran IPA dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa. Society science technology learning model is a learning proccess that combines science by linking the society science environment and technology that considered appropriate to be used as a science learning model. The research aims to analyze the learning process an the factors supporting of the science, technology, and societs (STS) learning model in science of Bojonegara 1 elementary school. Research methods used in case study research by using interview, observation, and test data collection technique. The results that learning process uses the Science, Technology, and Society (STS) syntax is invitations, explorations, solutions, application of concepts, consolidasion of concept, and assessments. While the supporting factors for STS learning are increased student creatifity, critical thinking, increased learning motivation, concrete learning, in real life, learning that connects to technology. The test result given show that 30 students as much as 97% of students can work on uestions above the minimum value specified. Therefore the use of the science, technology society learning model on science subjects considered effective in improving students cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.
