Abstract

Pendidikan erat kaitannya dengan belajar dan mengajar yang terjadi antara siswa dan guru guna mencapai sebuah tujuan. Proses tersebut berlangsung selama proses pembelajaran di kelas dengan didukung oleh perangkat pembelajaran yang menunjang. Salah satu perangkat pembelajaran yang menunjang pembelajaran di kelas adalah buku ajar. Pada kurikulum 2013 buku ajar yang digunakan jenjang sekolah dasar berbeda dengan jenjang lainnya yaitu buku berbasis tematik integratif. Oleh karena itu, peneliti ingin melakukan penelitian mengenai materi pelajaran khususnya materi IPA yang terdapat pada buku tematik sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesesuaian materi IPA dengan ruang lingkup materi dan relevansinya dengan pendekatan saintifik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis isi pada buku tematik kelas VI Semester II Revisi 2018. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Ditemukan 3 aspek materi IPA yang sesuai dengan ruang lingkup materi pada standar isi materi IPA 2) Diperoleh relevansi kegiatan IPA terhadap pendekatan saintifik yang paling mendominasi adalah kegiatan menalar sebanyak 30%. ----- Education is closely related to the learning and teaching process that occurs between students and teachers in order to achieve a goal. This process takes place during the learning process in the classroom supported by supporting learning devices. One of the important learning tools to support learning in the classroom is a book. The textbooks used in the 2013 elementary school curriculum are different from other levels, namely books based on integrative thematics. Therefore, researchers want to do research on subject matter, especially science material contained in elementary school thematic books. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of the science material with the scope of the material and its relevance to the scientific approach. The type of research used in this study is content analysis on the thematic book class VI Semester II Revision 2018. Data collection in this study consisted of observation (observation), documentation, and literature study. he results showed 1) There were 3 aspects of science material that matched the scope of the standard science material content. 2) The relevance of science activities to the scientific approach was found, the most dominating activity was reasoning as much as 30%.
