Abstract

ABSTRAK NUR PAUJIAH (2021) Analisis Kemampuan Observasi Siswa Pada Konsep Perubahan Wujud Benda Dan Sifatnya Dengan Metode Eksperimen Dalam Pembelajaran IPA Kelas V SDN 1 Bojongcae Pembelajaran IPA adalah pembelajaran yang sangat menghargai suatu proses. Pembelajaran IPA tidak hanya melihat hasil akhir tapi juga melihat adanya proses dalam pembelajaran tersebut. Merancang kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis ekperimen dapat menjadi salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk melihat suatu proses dan tidak hanya hasil dari nilai akhir. Pada umumnya seringkali siswa mengetahui konsep, tapi siswa tidak paham akan konsep tersebut. Pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep IPA yang masih abstrak dapat dibantu dengan melakukan percobaan atau melakukan observasi, yang dimana observasi merupakan salah satu indikator dari keterampilan proses. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa kemampuan observasi siswa pada konsep perubahan wujud benda dan sifatnya dengan metode eksperimen pada pembelajaran IPA di kelas V SDN 1 Bojongcae Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dan analisis kegiatan. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah sembilan orang siswa kelas V (lima). Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah catatan lapangan, lembar tes dan lembar observasi yang telah disesuaikan dengan indikator kemampuan observasi siswa. Kemampuan observasi siswa yang meliputi tiga indikator yaitu diantaranya keterampilan menggunakan alat indera, kemampuan mengumpulkan fakta-fakta yang relevan dan kemampuan mengidentifikasi persamaan dan perbedaan. Pada hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan observasi kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Bojongcae memiliki nilai rata-rata persentase 74% dengan kategori baik. In the science learning, you don’t see the final result but also see only the process in the learning. Designing experimental-based learning activities can be one way that can be done to see a process and not only from the end result. In geeral, student often know the concept, but student don’t understand the concept. Students is understanding of abtract science concept can be helped by conducting experiments or making observations, where observation is one indicator of process skills. The purpose of this study was to analyze students’ observation skills on the concepts of changing the shape of object and properties with the experimental method of learning science in 5th grade of SDN 1 Bojongcae in the 2020/2021 academic year. This researchqualitative research and activity analysis. The subjects in this study were nine fifth graders (five). The instruments used in this research are field notes, test sheets and observation sheets which have been adjusted to the students is observation abilities. Observational ability is divided into three indicators, namely is the skill of using the senses, the ability to collect relevant fact, and the ability to find similarities and diffrences. The result of the research analysis of students is observational abilities on the concept of changing the shape of object and properties with experimental methods in science learning fifth grade elementary school 1 bojongcae have an average value of 74% proportion with good category.
