Abstract

Minat mempunyai fungsi yang besar terhadap kegiatan belajar. Seseorang akan berhasil ketika ia berminat terhadap sesuatu yang dipelajari dan dengan sendirinya akan menunjukan keaktifannya dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Maka dari itu pentingnya untuk mencari tahu tentang kategorisasi minat belajar siswa khususnya dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu tingkat kategorisasi minat belajar matematika pada pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD berjumlah 40 orang. Metode deskriptif digunakan supaya dapat memberikan sebuah gambaran mengenai minat belajar matematika siswa dalam situasi pembelajaran daring saat ini. Instrumen yang digunakan peneliti dalam mengumpulkan data-data berupa angket dan wawancara. Selanjutnya setelah semua data terkumpul, dilakukan proses analisis data. Untuk data angket akan diubah dengan menggunakan sistem penilaian dalam skala likert. Setelah data ditabulasikan sesuai nilai skor angket yang digunakan, selanjutnya ditentukannya nilai rata-rata (mean), standar deviasi atau simpangan baku untuk mengetahui penafsiran kategorisasi dari minat belajar matematika siswa. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa proses pembelajaran daring dilakukan dengan menggunakan media aplikasi whatsApp. Proses pembelajaran berlangsung dengan cukup efektif dan mudah untuk dijangkau oleh guru,siswa dan orang tua. Kemudian terlihat bahwa minat belajar matematika pada pembelajaran daring sangat beragam. Terdapat siswa yang memiliki minat belajar sangat tinggi sebanyak 16 orang (40%), siswa yang memiliki minat belajar yang cukup tinggi sebanyak 18 orang (45%), siswa yang memiliki minat belajar yang rendah sebanyak 5 orang (12,5%) dan sisanya 1orang (2,5%) memiliki minat belajar sangat rendah. Interest has a great function in learning activities. A person will be successful when he is interested in something that is being learned and will automatically show his activeness in participating in learning. Therefore it is important to find out about the categorization of students' interest in learning, especially in learning mathematics. This study aims to find out the level of categorization of interest in learning mathematics in online learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with quantitative descriptive methods. The sample in this study was the fourth grade elementary school students totaling 40 people. Descriptive method is used in order to provide an overview of students' interest in learning mathematics in the current online learning situation. The instrument used by researchers in collecting data is in the form of questionnaires and interviews. Furthermore, after all the data is collected, the data analysis process is carried out. The questionnaire data will be changed using a rating system on a Likert scale. After the data is tabulated according to the score of the questionnaire used, then the average value (mean), standard deviation or standard deviation is determined to determine the interpretation of the categorization of students' interest in learning mathematics. The results of the study revealed that the online learning process was carried out using whatsApp application media. The learning process takes place quite effectively and is easy to reach by teachers, students and parents. Then it can be seen that the interest in learning mathematics in online learning is very diverse. There are students who have a very high interest in learning as many as 16 people (40%), students who have a fairly high interest in learning as many as 18 people (45%), students who have a low interest in learning as many as 5 people (12.5%) and the rest 1 person (2.5%) has a very low interest in learning.
