Abstract
Partita No. 2 in D Minor untuk solo violin karya Johann Sebastian Bach ini menjadi salah satu karya penting dalam dunia musik. Komposisi ini memiliki lima bagian, salah satunya adalah Sarabande yang terdapat pada bagian tiga. Penelitian yang berjudul “Teknik Permainan Violin pada Komposisi Musik ‘Partita No. 2 in D Minor Bagian Tiga (Sarabande)’ Karya Johann Sebastian Bach” bertujuan untuk mengetahui teknik permainan violin pada komposisi ini. Penelitian difokuskan pada teknik fingering dan teknik bowing yang terdapat pada komposisi Partita No. 2 in D Minor bagian tiga (Sarabande). Untuk mengungkap hal tersebut, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitik. Data-data diperoleh melalui studi literatur berupa partitur, buku dan jurnal terkait, dokumentasi audio-visual, dan hasil wawancara dengan narasumber. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan mengenai teknik-teknik permainan violin yang digunakan pada komposisi ini, bagaimana suara yang dihasilkan ketika memainkan teknik tersebut, serta kesan yang ingin disampaikan dari komposisi tersebut. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi pemain violin dan guru musik. Kata Kunci : Teknik Violin, Sarabande, Partita No. 2 in D Minor, J.S Bach Partita No. 2 in D Minor for the violin solo by Johann Sebastian Bach has become one of the most important works in the music world. This composition has five parts, one of which is Sarabande which is contained in part three. The research entitled "Violin Playing Techniques in Musical Composition ‘Partita No. 2 in D Minor Part Three (Sarabande)’ by Johann Sebastian Bach” aims to determine the violin playing technique in this composition. The research focused on fingering and bowing techniques contained in the composition of Partita No. 2 in D Minor part three (Sarabande). To reveal this, the data collection technique was carried out using a qualitative method with an analytical descriptive approach. The data were obtained through literature study in the form of sheet music, related books and journals, audio-visual documentation, and the results of interviews with interviewess. The results of the study explain the violin playing techniques used in this composition, how the sound is produced when playing the technique, and the impression you want to convey from the composition.
