Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya fakta bahwa keterampilan menulis merupakan keterampilan berbahasa yang dianggap paling sulit, sehingga siswa sering merasa kesulitan dan ragu dalam menuangkan gagasannya melalui tulisan. Selain itu, peneliti berpikir bahwa siswa perlu mendapat pembelajaran nilai-nilai sosial untuk kehidupan, salah satunya dapat diperoleh melalui ulasan film. Film dipilih karena dapat menjadi media belajar yang selaras dengan kemajuan IPTEK dan efektif untuk berbagai gaya belajar, terutama bagi siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar audio-visual. Peneliti tertarik mengkaji film “DoReMi & You” karena kisahnya mengandung nilai-nilai sosial dalam kesederhanaan yang berdampak besar pada kehidupan. Analisis film menggunakan kajian sosiologi sastra, teori Robert Stanton untuk analisis unsur naratif, dan teori Himawan Pratista untuk analisis unsur sinematik. Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) mendeskripsikan analisis struktur film “DoReMi & You”; (2) mendeskripsikan analisis nilai sosial yang dapat diambil dari film “DoReMi & You”; (3) menyusun rancangan bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran menulis teks ulasan di SMP berdasarkan analisis film “DoReMi & You”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, studi pustaka, menyimak, dan mencatat. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu ditemukannya unsur naratif dan sinematik pada struktur film, terdapat 15 butir nilai sosial, dan rancangan modul yang telah dinilai para ahli dapat menambah variasi bahan ajar teks sastra untuk materi teks ulasan di SMP kelas VIII yang sesuai dengan KD 3.12 dan 4.12. This research is motivated by the fact that writing skills are the most difficult language skills, so students often find it difficult and hesitant to express their ideas through writing. In addition, researchers think that students need to learn social values for life, one of which can be obtained through film reviews. Film was chosen because it can be a learning medium that is in line with advances in science and technology and is effective for various learning styles, especially for students who have audio-visual learning styles. Researchers are interested in studying the film "DoReMi & You" because the story contains social values in simplicity that have a big impact on life. The film analysis uses the sociology of literature, Robert Stanton's theory for narrative element analysis, and Himawan Pratista's theory for cinematic element analysis. The objectives of this study: (1) describe the structural analysis of the film “DoReMi & You”; (2) describe the analysis of social values that can be taken from the film “DoReMi & You”; (3) preparing the design of teaching materials in learning to write review texts in junior high schools based on the analysis of the film "DoReMi & You". This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are observation, literature study, listening, and taking notes. The results of the research are the discovery of narrative and cinematic elements in the structure of the film, there are 15 points of social value, and the module design that has been assessed by experts can add to the variety of literary text teaching materials for review text material in SMP class VIII in accordance with KD 3.12 and 4.12.
