Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi, bahwa faktanya, masih banyak siswa yang sulit mengungkapkan ide atau gagasan dengan variasi bahasa. Selain itu, banyak juga siswa yang kesulitan dalam memahami makna atau isi dari teks yang dibacanya, terlebih untuk memahami teks puisi. Dalam konteks pembelajaran SD, siswa memerlukan kemampuan untuk memahami makna dari diksi dan gaya bahasa yang terdapat dalam buku tematik kelas IV SD kurikulum 2013, khususnya pada materi pembelajaran puisi. Hal tersebut agar kegiatan pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan diksi dan gaya bahasa dalam 11 puisi yang terdapat di buku tematik kelas IV SD tema 6 cita-citaku. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan bentuk analisis isi (content analysis). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan ialah human instrument dengan dibantu tabel analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penggunaan diksi dan gaya bahasa pada 11 puisi tersebut. Diksi yang ditemukan yaitu diksi berdasarkan makna kata (denotasi dan kias), diksi berdasarkan jenis kata (kata abstrak, kata konkret, kata umum, dan kata khusus), diksi berdasarkan kelas kata (verba, nomina, adjektiva, adverbia, numeralia, pronomina, preposisi, konjungsi, dan partikel/fatis), dan diksi berdasarkan struktur leksikal (sinonimi, antonimi, dan hiponimi). Selanjutnya, gaya bahasa (majas) yang ditemukan yaitu gaya bahasa perbandingan (personifikasi, perumpamaan/simile, metafora, dan pleonasme), gaya bahasa pertentangan (hiperbola, paradoks, dan klimaks), gaya bahasa pertautan (eufemisme, paralelisme, dan epitet), dan gaya bahasa perulangan (asonansi, anafora, epistrofa, aliterasi, dan repetisi). Diksi dan gaya bahasa dalam puisi-puisi tersebut tidak terlalu kompleks dan masih dapat dipahami oleh siswa. ----- The background of this research is that in fact, there are still many students who find it difficult to express ideas or ideas with language variations. In addition, many students also have difficulty in understanding the meaning or content of the text they read, especially to understand the poetry text. In the context of elementary school learning, students need the ability to understand the meaning of diction and language style contained in the thematic books for grade IV elementary school curriculum 2013, especially in poetry learning materials. This is so that learning activities can run smoothly and effectively. The purpose of this study was to describe the use of diction and language style in the 11 poems contained in the thematic book for grade 4 SD, 6 my ideals. This research includes qualitative descriptive research in the form of content analysis (content analysis). The research instrument used is a human instrument with the help of an analysis table. The results of the study indicate the use of diction and language style in the 11 poems. The dictions found were diction based on word meaning (denotation and figurative language), diction based on word types (abstract words, concrete words, general words, and specific words), diction based on word classes (verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs, numerals, pronouns, prepositions, conjunctions, and particles/fatigues), and diction based on lexical structures (synonyms, antonyms, and hyponymy). Furthermore, the language styles (majas) found are comparative language styles (personification, similes, metaphors, and pleonasms), contradictory language styles (hyperbole, paradox, and climax), linking language styles (euphemisms, parallelisms, and epithets), and repetition (assonance, anaphora, epistropha, alliteration, and repetition). The diction and language style in these poems are not too complex and can still be understood by students.
