Abstract

Penerimaan diri mengacu pada kepuasan individu atau kebahagiaan dengan dirinya sendiri, yang diperlukan untuk kesehatan mental yang baik. Remaja yang dapat menerima diri dan mengakui kondisi mereka bebas untuk memanfaatkan kondisi yang mereka punya. Mereka juga mengakui kekurangan mereka tanpa menyalahkan diri mereka sendiri. Penggunaan layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik psikodrama diharapkan dapat menciptakan individu agar dapat menerima keadaan dirinya. Penelitian bertujuan menguji efektivitas teknik Psikodrama untuk meningkatkan penerimaan diri peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 16 Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pra-eksperimen, dengan One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur berupa kuesioner yaitu alat ukur penerimaan diri kepada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 16 Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan mengacu pada aspek dari Shepard dan indikator-indikator dari Berger. Partisipasi berjumlah 24 peserta didik (L=10 dan P=14). Analisis perhitungan data menggunakan statistika deskriptif untuk melihat kenaikan skor penerimaan diri dan analisis pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik psikodrama efektif untuk meningkatkan penerimaan diri peserta didik.
Abstract
Self-acceptance refers to the individual's satisfaction or happiness within himself, which is needed for good mental health. Teenagers who can accept themselves and admit their condition are free to take advantages of the conditions they have. They also acknowledge their shortcomings without blaming themselves. The use of group counseling services using psychodrama technique is expected to create individuals who are able to accept their condition.The study aims to test the effectiveness of psychodrama technique in ncreasing self-acceptance of the eighth graders of SMP Negeri 16 Bandung (N = 24 students). The research method used is a pre-experimental research, Using One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The data was collected using a questionnaire which was an instrument to measure self-acceptance of the samples. The instruments used refers to the aspects and indicators proposed by Berger. To analyze the data, the researcher uses descriptive statistical calculations to see the increasing of self-acceptance scores and to analyze the pre-test and post-test. The results showed that psychodrama technique is effective to increase the learners’ self-acceptance.
