Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh perubahan demografis yang pasti akan terjadi, yaitu bonus demografi. Penduduk usia SD yang saat ini duduk di kelas 5 pada tahun 2021 memiliki rentang usia 10 hingga 12 tahun, usia tersebut diperkirakan akan memasuki peluang bonus demografi yang terjadi pada tahun 2028-2030. Dengan demikian pada tahun 2028 penduduk yang sedang duduk di kelas 5 saat ini akan memasuki usia awal produktif, karena mereka berusia 17 hingga 19 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memverifikasi pemahaman guru kelas 5 tentang bonus demografi, dan mengidentifikasi langkah yang ditempuh guru kelas 5 dalam mempersiapkan peserta didik menghadapi bonus demografi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kelas 5 SD yang mengajar di Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukan sebagian besar guru kelas 5 SD di Kota Bandung telah memahami bonus demografi, namun sebagian kecil guru yang belum memahami bonus demografi. Langkah yang ditempuh oleh guru kelas 5 SD di Kota Bandung dalam membekali peserta didik menghadapi bonus demografi adalah dengan cara mengkomunikasikan tujuan pembelajaran, mengaitkan pembelajaran dengan bonus demografi, menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan berbasis proyek sehingga diperoleh peserta didik yang memiliki keterampilan berpikir, keterampilan berkolaborasi, keterampilan literasi. Dalam pembelajaran, guru juga menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK, menggunakan sumber pembelajaran berbasis TIK, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran berbasis TIK.

This  research  is  motivated  by  demographic  changes  that  are  sure  to  occur,  namely  the demographic bonus. The population of elementary school age who is currently in grade 5 in 2021 has an age range of 10 to 12 years. This age is expected to enter the demographic bonus opportunities that occur in the 2030s. Thus, in 2028 the population who are currently sitting in grade 5 will enter an early productive age, because they are aged 17 to 19 years. This study aims  to  verify  the  understanding  of  grade  5  teachers  about  the  demographic  bonus,  and  the steps  taken  by  grade  5  teachers  in  preparing  students  for  the  demographic  bonus.  The 
population in this  study  were  5th  grade elementary  school  teachers  who teach  in  the  city  of Bandung.  This  study  uses  a  survey  method.  The  results  showed  that  most  of  the  5th  grade elementary  school  teachers  in  Bandung  City  had  understood  the  demographic  bonus,  but  a 
small number of teachers did not understand the demographic bonus. The steps achieved by 5th  grade  elementary  school  teachers  in  Bandung  City  in  equipping  students  to  face  the demographic bonus are by communicating the learning objectives, which are associated with 
learning with the demographic bonus, using problem-based and project-based learning methods so that students who have thinking skills, skills , literacy skills. In learning, teachers also use ICT-based learning media, use ICT-based learning resources, and develop ICT-based learning.
