Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia merupakan ciri khas dari bangsa Indonesia yang dapat mempersatukan beragam bahasa daerah yang ada di Indonesia. Salah satu keterampilan berbahasa yang wajib dimiliki siswa di Sekolah Dasar yaitu keterampilan menulis. Dengan keterampilan menulis yang baik, seorang siswa dapat dengan mudah mengambil bagian ke dalam masyarakat untuk kegiatan kehidupan sosial. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Cooperative Learning tipe Concept Sentence terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian dengan penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-eksperimen one group pretest-posttest. Sampel sejumlah 20 orang siswa kelas IV C di UPTD SDN 4 Nagrikaler, Kabupaten Purwakarta. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji t di dapatkan hasil t hitung = 18. 089 > t tabel= 2.086, dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 5%. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linear sederhana, mendapatkan R square sebesar 0,58 atau sebesar 58%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh model Cooperative Learning tipe Concept Sentence terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar. ----- Indonesian language is a characterictic of the Indonesian nation that can unite various regional languages in Indonesia. One of the language skills that must be possessed by student in elementary school is writing skills. With good writing skills, a student can easily take part into society for social life activities. This research was conducted to find out the influence of the Cooperative Learning type Concept Sentence model in the writing skills of writing description essays for grade IV students in elementary school. The type of this research was 20 students of grade IVC UPTD SDN 4 Nagrikaler, Purwakarta Regency. Instruments used in this research were in the form of tests and documentation. Based on the data analysis using SPSS, the result of t count = 18.089 > t table = 2.086 with a 5% of significance level. Based on the result of a simple linear regression test, get R square of 0.58 or by 58%. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the Cooperative Learning concept sentence model on the ability to write the description of grade IV students in elementary school.
