Abstract

Berdasarkan data dari badan pusat statistika (BPS) bahwa Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT) lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) masih mendominasi di antara jenjang pendidikan lainnya. idealnya lulusan SMK memiliki kesiapan kerja yang baik sehingga bisa diterima di dunia kerja. Salah satu faktor yang dianggap menjadi penyebab tidak terserapnya lulusan sekolah menengah kejuruan oleh dunia kerja adalah tingkat employability skills yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana tingkat employability skills yang dimiliki siswa jurusan Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB) SMKN 1 Purwakarta, terkhusus pada aspek keterampilan berkomunikasi, keterampilan bekerjasama dalam kelompok dan keterampilan memecahkan masalah. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Deskriptif dengan pendekatan Kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII DPIB. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan mengadaptasi metode self assessment. Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan analisis Univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tingkat employability skills keterampilan berkomunikasi masuk pada kategori tinggi, tingkat employability skills keterampilan bekerjasama dalam kelompok masuk pada kategori tinggi, dan tingkat employability skills keterampilan memecahkan masalah masuk pada kategori tinggi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat employability skills siswa DPIB SMKN 1 Purwakarta masuk pada kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah implikasi bahwa siswa kelas XII DPIB SMKN 1 Purwakarta sudah siap memasuki dunia kerja. Ideally SMK graduates have good work readiness so that they can be accepted in the world of work. One of the factors considered to be the cause of the non-absorption of vocational high school graduates by the world of work is the low level of employability skills . This study aims to see how the level of employability skills possessed by students majoring in Modeling and Building Information Design SMKN 1 Purwakarta, particularly in the aspects of communication skills, teamwork skills and problem solving skills. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The research sample in this study was class XII DPIB students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire by adapting the method self assessment. Then the data were analyzed using Univariate analysis. The results showed that the level of employability skills of communication skills was in the high category, the level of employability skills of cooperative skills in groups was in the high category, and the level of employability skills of problem solving skills was in the high category. So it can be concluded that the level of employability skills of DPIB SMKN 1 Purwakarta students is in the high category. Thus, this research results in an implication that class XII students of DPIB SMKN 1 Purwakarta are ready to enter the world of work. Keywords: employability skills, DPIB SMK
