    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai literasi hakikat sains guru Biologi SMA kabupaten Bandung, karena kompetensi ini berkaitan dengan profesionalisme guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru-guru Biologi SMA yang tergabung dalam MGMP Biologi kabupaten Bandung yang ditetapkan secara random sampling yang berjumlah 12 orang guru. Analisis literasi hakikat sains dijaring dengan menggunakan instrumen test (soal pilihan ganda dan benar-salah) dan instrumen non-test (angket dan wawancara). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru biologi SMA kabupaten Bandung literat hakikat sains kategori cukup (58%). Guru mencapai literat hakikat sains tertinggi dan terendah pada domain cara mengetahui yang terdapat pada aspek postulat sains (92%) dan aspek miskosepsi mengenai sains (29%). Dari penelitian ini juga diketahui ada kecendrungan faktor pendidikan pada guru berkontribusi terhadap literasi hakikat sainsnya. Guru yang literat hakikat sains kategori baik sekali memiliki kompetensi yang dipersyaratkan sebagai guru biologi, tetapi guru yang melanjutkan pendidikannya tidak sesuai dengan bidang yang diampunya menjadi salah satu penyebab guru kurang literat hakikat sains. Kata kunci: Literasi Hakikat Sains, Inkuiri, Guru Biologi   A study aimed to description about biology teacher’s nature of science literate at senior high school in Kabupaten Bandung, it’s related to teacher’s profesionalism. The method used in this study was descriptive design, with 12 biology teachers in senior high school who join in MGMP Kabupaten. Bandung. Samples choosed by random sampling. The instrument used for data collection were test (multiple choise and true-false test) and non-test (quesionare and interview). The result showed that nature of science literate of biology teachers at senior high school in Kabupaten Bandung categorized sufficient (58%). The highest and the lowest teacher’s nature of science literate were in a way of knowing domains in science postulatates of science aspect (92%) and misconception about science aspect (29%). Teachers’s background education contributed toward their nature of science literate. Teachers who have nature of science literate in very good category, they do competent as biology teacher, but they who have unappropriate study with their major in school caused their nature of science literate were low.
