Abstract

ABSTRAK EFEKTIVITAS GLOBAL WARMING SMART TEACHING MATERIALS WITH MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES ORIENTED (GW-STM2I) DALAM MENGAKOMODIR PERUBAHAN KONSEPSI SISWA SMA Kecerdasan merupakan salah satu faktor yang membantu siswa berhasil dalam belajar sehingga siswa dapat dengan mudah memahami konsep pada materi yang diberikan. Setiap manusia memiliki kecerdasan yang beragam yang biasa dikenal sebagai kecerdasan majemuk. Untuk mengakomodasikan kecerdasan majemuk tersebut, maka bahan ajar berbasis web sebagai pedoman baik untuk guru maupun siswa dalam pembelajaran sangat dibutuhkan. Bahan ajar berbasis web berorientasi kecerdasan majemuk yang dikembangkan Zulika pada tahun 2018 diadaptasi sehingga menjadi GW-STM2I. GW-STM2I ini mengakomodasikan kecerdasan majemuk dalam setiap tahapan pembelajarannya sehingga dianggap bisa membantu siswa membangun konsepsi terhadap materi pemanasan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas penerapan GW-STM2I dalam merubah konsepsi siswa pada materi pemanasan global dengan menggunakan metode penelitian mixed methods dengan desain embedded experimental model. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari soal perubahan konsepsi yang sudah valid dan reliabel, angket kecerdasan majemuk dan angket self-perceive of multiple intelligences activities. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 29 siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan 29 siswa pada kelas kontrol di salah satu SMA di Bandung. Teknik analisis data digunakan effect size, analisis angket kecerdasan majemuk ,analisis self-perceive of multiple intelligences activities, dan analisis pola perubahan konsepsi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, penelitian menunjukan bahwa GW-STM2I efektif dalam merubah konsepsi siswa dengan nilai 1,07 berada pada kategori besar yang memberikan efek besar dalam merubah konsepsi siswa dengan pola perubahan konsepsi terbanyak pada kategori tingkatan perubahan meningkat dengan tipe kecerdasan intrapersonal menjadi tipe kecerdasan majemuk dominan. Kata kunci: GW-STM2I, kecerdasan majemuk, perubahan konsepi ABSTRACT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF GLOBAL WARMING SMART TEACHING MATERIALS WITH MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES ORIENTED (GW-STM2I) IN ACCOMMODING CHANGES IN CONCEPTS OF SMA STUDENTS Intelligence is one of the factors that help students succeed in learning so that students can easily understand the concepts in the material provided. Every human being has various intelligences which are commonly known as multiple intelligences. To accommodate these multiple intelligences, web-based teaching materials as a guide for both teachers and students in learning are needed. The multiple intelligence-oriented web-based teaching materials developed by Zulika in 2018 were adapted to become GW-STM2I. GW-STM2I accommodates multiple intelligences in every stage of learning so that it is considered to be able to help students build a conception of global warming material. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the application of GW-STM2I in changing students' conceptions of global warming by using a mixed methods research method with an embedded experimental model design. The instrument used in this study consisted of a question of conceptual change that was valid and reliable, a multiple intelligences questionnaire and a self-perceive questionnaire of multiple intelligences activities. The participants in this study were 29 students in the experimental class and 29 students in the control class in one of the senior high schools in Bandung. The data analysis technique used effect size, multiple intelligence questionnaire analysis, self-perceive analysis of multiple intelligences activities, and analysis of conceptional change patterns. Based on the results of the analysis, the research shows that GW-STM2I is effective in changing students' conceptions with a value of 1.07 being in the large category which has a big effect in changing students' conceptions with the most pattern of conception changes in the category of increasing level of change with the type of intrapersonal intelligence being the type of multiple intelligence. dominant.
