Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kesenian Reog Kendang, peran masyarakat dan peran pemerintan dalam proses revitalisasi nilai persatuan Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini juga dijelaskan beberapa hambatan dan cara mengatasi hambatan dalam proses revitalisasi nilai persatuan Indonesia melalui kesenian Reog Kendang. Lokasi penelitian yaitu di Kabupaten Tulungagung. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai yaitu dengan observasi, wawancara yang mendalam dan studi dokumen. Analisa yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Adapun hasil dari penelitian yaitu terdapat beberapa peran kesenian Reog Kendang dalam revitalisasi nilai persatuan Indonesia. Temuan pertama, bahwa melalui kesenian Reog Kendang dapat dijadikan sebagai wadah dalam kebhinekaan. Temua kedua, bahwa dalam kesenin Reog Kendang memiliki beberapa pakem yang tidak boleh ditinggalkan dan menjadi ciri khas kesenin ini. Beberapa pakem dalam kesenian ini adalah berupa gerakan dan instrumen pokok yang menjadi ciri khas kesenian Reog Kendang. Hal itu menunjukkan bahwa dalam kesenian ini dapat membentuk suatu kedisiplinan yang harus dijalankan. Temuan ketiga bahwa terdapat suatu usaha yang menunjukkan adanya suatu tanggaung jawab untuk menjaga kelestarian kesenian Reog Kendnag. Beberapa peran pemerintah diantaranya sebagai promotor, sedangkan peran masyarakat sebagai fasilitator dan berpartisipasi aktif. Beberapa hambatan diantaranya adalah masalah keuangan dan sulitnya menemukan bakat alami pada pemain kesenian reog kendang ini. Beberapa cara untuk mengatasi hambatan belum sepenuhnya mendapatkan solusi yang baik. Kata kunci: Nilai Persatuan, Local Wisdom, Reog Kendang ABSTRACT Erika Novitasari (1906923). The Role Of The Reog Kendang Art As A Local Wisdom In Revitalizing The Value Of Indonesian Unity This study aims to determine the role of Reog Kendang art, the role of society and the role of the government in the process of revitalizing the value of Indonesian unity. This study also describes several obstacles and ways to overcome obstacles in the process of revitalizing the value of Indonesian unity through the art of Reog Kendang. The research location is in Tulungagung Regency. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The method used is the case study method. The data collection techniques used are observation, in-depth interviews and document studies. The analysis used is by using data triangulation techniques. The results of the research are that there are several roles of Reog Kendang art in the revitalization of the value of Indonesian unity. first finding, that through the art of Reog Kendang, it can be used as a forum for diversity. The second finding is that on Reog Kendang has several rules that should not be abandoned and become the hallmark of this Monday. Some of the standards in this art are in the form of basic movements and instruments that characterize the art of Reog Kendang. This shows that in this art can form a discipline that must be carried out. The third finding is that there is an effort that shows the existence of a responsibility to preserve the art of Reog Kendnag. Some of the roles of the government are as a promoter, while the role of the community is as a facilitator and actively participates.
