Abstract

Abstrak. Kehidupan abad 21 mengalami globalisasi dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni (Ipteks) yang tumbuh signifikan dan memberikan dampak besar terhadap manusia serta menjadi tanggung jawab berbagai pihak. Pada tahun 2015 PBB mempublikasikan 17 tujuan global yang akan dicapai pada tahun 2030, salah satu tujuan tersebut adalah pendidikan berkualitas melalui program Education of Sustainable Development (ESD). ESD adalah upaya mendorong masyarakat menghadapi tantangan global secara konstruktif dan kreatif serta menciptakan masyarakat yang tangguh dan berkelanjutan. Pada jenjang pendidikan menengah khususnya SMK implementasi ESD harus dioptimalkan untuk bekal peserta didik, karena pada fase ini siswa dituntut melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi atau terjun langsung ke masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi ESD di SMK dan relevansinya dengan KKNI. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara, observasi, serta analisis dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, belum ada pembahasan secara eksplisit mengenai pembahasan ESD pada kurikulum yang digunakan SMK Teknik Telekomunikasi. Implementasi ESD di SMK Telekomunikasi sudah cukup baik ditinjau dari mengacunya silabus dan RPP terhadap konsep dasar ESD, penerapan model pembelajaran berfokus pada siswa, dan adanya program peningkatan softskill dari sekolah sesuai tuntutan ESD. Kegiatan pembelajaran dengan mengimplementasikan ESD telah sejalan dengan aspek yang harus dimiliki oleh lulusan SMK sesuai dengan KKNI yaitu ilmu pengetahuan (science), pengetahuan (knowledge), pengetahuan praktis, keterampilan, afeksi, dan kompetensi sesuai bidangnya. Abstract. The life of the 21st century is experiencing globalization with the development of science, technology, and art (science and technology) which grow significantly and have a major impact on humans and are the responsibility of various parties. In 2015 the United Nations published 17 global goals to be achieved by 2030, one of these goals is quality education through the Education of Sustainable Development (ESD) program. ESD is an effort to encourage people to face global challenges constructively and creatively and to create a resilient and sustainable society. At the secondary education level, especially SMK, the implementation of ESD must be optimized for the provision of students, because at this phase students are required to continue higher education or go directly to the community. This research aims to determine the implementation of ESD in SMK and its relevance to the KKNI. This research was carried out using a qualitative descriptive approach and data collection was carried out using interviews, observations, and documentation analysis. Based on the research, there has been no explicit discussion regarding the discussion of ESD in the 2013 revised 2018 curriculum used by the Telecommunication Engineering Vocational School. The implementation of ESD in the Telecommunications Vocational School has been implemented properly in terms of the reference to the learning design in the form of syllabus and lesson plans for the basic concepts of ESD, the application of a student-focused learning model, and the existence of a softskill improvement program from the school. Learning activities by implementing ESD are in line with aspects that must be possessed by SMK graduates in accordance with the KKNI, namely science, knowledge, practical knowledge, skills, affection, and competencies according to their fields.
