Abstract
Penelitian mengenai pembelajaran klinik dilakukan karena merupakan salah satu kelemahan yang dapat diidentifikasi dalam pendidikan keperawatan. Melalui pembelajaran klinik yang tepat diharapkan terjadi proses aktivasi aspek kognitif, terjadi demonstrasi, aplikasi dan integrasi aspek afektif dan psikomotor dalam memberikan pelayanan keperawatan. Pembelajaran klinik mempunyai bobot SKS yang banyak (18 SKS) dan mempunyai pengaruh yang besar terhadap pencapaian kompetensi sebagai seorang perawat yang pelaksanaannya pada saat kini masih perlu diperbaiki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran klinik di rumah sakit dengan menggunakan metoda Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Research and Development). Lokasi penelitian dilakukan pada Jurusan Keperawatan Politeknik Kesehatan Bandung. Subyek penelitian terdiri atas: Ketua Program Studi Keperawatan Bandung, Pembimbing Klinik (n=13) dan Mahasiswa DIII Keperawatan yang melaksanakan pembelajaran klinik Keperawatan Anak II (n=64). Studi pendahuluan dilakukan pada enam rumah sakit dan pengembangan model dilakukan pada tiga rumah sakit. Hasil penelitian berupa model pembelajaran klinik yang disebut sebagai “Model Pembelajaran Klinik Berdasarkan Target (MPKBT)”; menurut penilaian pembimbing klinik MPKBT mempunyai dampak positif terhadap pembimbing klinik, mahasiswa dan pasien; berdasarkan hasil analisis uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test pada tingkat signifikansi 95% (α = 0.05), disimpulkan bahwa MPKBT dapat meningkatkan kinerja pembimbing klinik dan meningkatkan jumlah tindakan keperawatan yang dapat dilakukan oleh mahasiswa. Rekomendasi: hendaknya Ketua Jurusan, Staf Dosen dan Pembimbing Klinik menerapkan MPKBT pada mata kuliah lain. Kata kunci: pembelajaran klinik, target, kinerja, tindakan keperawatan. The research on clinical instruction has been conducted because it was identified as one of the weaknesses in nursing education. Through appropriate clinical instruction, it is expected that the activation process of cognitive aspect, demonstration, application and integration of affective and psychomotor aspects will take place in the provision of nursing service. The course of Clinical Instruction has a large number of credits (18) and has a big impact on the competence achievement of a nurse, but the conduct of this course still needs improvement. The research aimed to produce an in-hospital clinical instruction model using Research and Development Method. The location of the research was at the Department of Nursing, Bandung Health Polytechnic. The subjects consisted of: Head of Nursing Program Bandung, Clinical Supervisors (n = 13), and Diploma III students attending the course of Child Nursing Clinical Instruction II (n = 64). A preliminary study was conducted at six hospitals and a model development at three hospitals. The outcome of the research was in the form of a clinical instructional model called “Target-Based Clinical Instructional Model”; according to the assessment done by clinical supervisors, the model had a positive impact on clinical supervisors, students and patients. Based on the results of Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test at the significance level of 95% (α = 0.05), it is concluded that Target-Based Clinical Instructional Model could improve the performance of clinical supervisors and increase the number of nursing interventions students could give. It is recommended that Head of Department, the Faculty, and Clinical Supervisors apply the model in other courses. Keywords: Clinical instruction, target, performance, nursing intervention.
